This zombie was different, though. His aura was ferocious; he had probably already reached SS-rank strength.
And he was clad in alloy steel plates, which looked extremely strange.
Why isn't a single one of these zombies normal?
Gong Liangjun grumbled inwardly.
Luckily, they had strength in numbers and had nothing to fear even from an SS-rank Zombie King.
"You handle this Zombie King. I'll take some people after the fleeing zombies so they don't bring a massive zombie tide down on us!"
Gong Liangjun issued his orders.
Zombies were far from mindless now. They might well head to a Corpse Nest to spread the word, and a massive zombie onslaught would be extremely dangerous. They had to catch them.
"No problem, Captain Gong."
A thin young man answered. His eyes gleamed, and his aura was strong. He was an SS-rank speed-type awakener.
One look at Tank told him he was a power-type Zombie King.
He could toy with him using his incredible speed, then coordinate with his teammates to kill him after wearing him down.
Gong Liangjun nodded, then led his teammates in the direction Flared Ears had fled.
The humans who stayed behind were already preparing to attack, energy pulsing around them.
"Let's get him!"
The thin young man roared and charged first, moving so fast that he left trails of afterimages behind him.
"I hate you speedy little scrawny monkeys the most!"
Ferocity flashed in Tank's tiny eyes. Facing the crowd of humans, he charged toward them instead of retreating.
His arms swung wide as he ran in his heavy alloy breastplate.
The ground trembled beneath his footsteps.
"What a vicious Zombie King!"
Shock filled their eyes. Elemental energy surged, and several ice walls, earth walls, and water curtains rose from the ground to block his path.
But
