Background

Qian Xunji is a transmigrator who inherited the original Qian Xunji's memories while retaining knowledge of the future. He views those inherited memories as though he had watched a film, allowing him to reject the original's lust-driven and self-destructive fate. 2

Fourteen years before the story, he rescued the dying Bibi Dong from a village attacked by fallen Soul Masters. He brought her to Spirit Hall, accepted her as his disciple after her martial soul awakened, and raised her with extensive personal and institutional investment. 1 7
