Tampering with the Divine Statue

The Source Plane had endured a war.

The war had brought the collapse of order, famine, and disease. Nearly twenty percent of the population had died in a short time.

By proportion, knights had suffered the worst, with a death rate of seventy to eighty percent.

Even so, billions of people remained. Scattered across the vast, sparsely populated Source Plane in kingdoms, they offered no shortage of candidates from whom to choose a few thousand promising Fire Seeds.

Yin Ming recalled the map of the Source Plane and headed toward the nearest town. The Five-Elements Escape Technique carried him at astonishing speed.

The next instant, he appeared above Kesa City in the Colt Region.

"Divine Sense!"

As usual, Yin Ming first released his Divine Sense to survey the area.

Divine Sense offered many conveniences. It was a sense matched to the brain's processing power.

Otherwise, the information gathered from a radius of over a dozen miles in an instant would have overwhelmed his brain.

But he could not use Divine Sense without restraint. A wizard's spiritual perception could detect someone prying.

On the Source Plane as it stood now, though, he had fewer reasons to be cautious. So what if someone sensed his Divine Sense?

Kesa City and Yaji Great City both belonged to the Black Forest Kingdom, but Kesa City was not the royal capital. It was smaller, and the entire city fell within the reach of his Divine Sense.

Is that... a statue of the Moon God?

As Yin Ming swept the city with his Divine Sense, he found something at its center.

A hundred-meter-tall statue of a beautiful human woman stood there, carved from white stone.

Her clothing and bearing resembled the Moon God of the Moon God Temple on the Dawn Plane, except that this statue
