Flash Express

Facing the power of the Lasso of Truth, Li Zu could not lie.

Flash and Reverse-Flash stopped fighting.

Another person who did not belong to this world had appeared!

He had no Speed Force, and even his strength was pitifully weak.

"My world doesn't have Toyman." Flash looked at Reverse-Flash, suspecting that Li Zu had been captured and brought to this world by him.

"Heh heh." Reverse-Flash could not be bothered to explain and merely chuckled softly.

He liked seeing stories develop in directions that were difficult to control.

The increasingly heavy sorrow on Flash's face gave him immense satisfaction.

There was no limit to his satisfaction... as long as Flash's sorrow had no limit either.

Li Zu was not untied, and Batman did not ask a second question.

He remained curled up on the ground, smelling blood and feeling the madness unique to a battlefield.

Blood trickled down his neck and soaked into his collar. The cooled blood was reignited by the warmth of his chest.

Li Zu shuddered. He did not like sticky things getting into his body, and being covered in blood was not "Toyman" at all.

Shouts came from the distance.

The sounds of slaughter and gunfire drew closer and closer.

Nearby, Flash was completely outmatched by Professor Zoom and was sent flying by a fist wrapped in the Speed Force.

Their battle had already surpassed the limits of Li Zu's vision.

"I have a way to kill that fast-running bastard. Want to try it?" Li Zu, still bound by the glowing rope, offered his "suggestion."

He always seemed able to find a reasonable bargaining chip in desperate situations, making himself seem a little more "valuable."

Batman said nothing, only tugging on the Lasso of Truth.

The divine power automatically controlled Li Zu's mouth and made him reveal that "simple" plan.

"You're too slow, Barry!" Professor Zoom dodged Flash's punch once again, folded his arms, and looked exactly like a teacher watching his hardworking student, utterly relaxed.

By contrast, Flash was panting with exhaustion.

Even stronger than his fatigue was his rage.

After laughing, Professor Zoom launched his attack. His fists were faster, and in his eyes, Flash seemed to have become an ordinary man moving in slow motion.

He accelerated to full speed, leaving afterimages behind his fists.

Of course, all of this existed only within the Speed Force. To ordinary eyes, they were merely two brief streaks of light,

fleeting flashes of light.

"Tell me, how do we kill that fast-running guy?" Batman swung the Lasso of Truth in his hand.

He raised his voice slightly to ensure that both Professor Zoom and Flash could hear him.

This did not fit Batman's usual image, but in this completely broken world, any action taken by an abnormal Batman seemed perfectly "reasonable."

Li Zu, lying on the ground, opened his mouth without hesitation. "Of course I know this guy's weakness..."

Not good! Professor Zoom felt a sense of dread rise within him.

After being bound by the Lasso of Truth, one could not lie.

If Li Zu could truly reveal his weakness, that meant he possessed some kind of "weakness" that even he himself had never known about!

He did not want Flash to turn defeat into victory in a match he had been certain to win. That would hurt him more than being killed.

Seeing Flash's joyful smile after succeeding would be the harshest punishment of all.

Speed Force lightning exploded around Professor Zoom. He turned and sprinted toward Li Zu, his arm vibrating at high speed as he prepared to seal Li Zu's mouth forever.

He ran faster than Li Zu could speak.

Unfortunately, Flash behind him was no slower and successfully intercepted him.

He even switched from defense to offense, binding Professor Zoom and dragging him out of the Speed Force's high-speed movement, bringing him before Batman and Li Zu.

"That is... I don't know either~" Li Zu cackled. His eyes seemed to peer through the light and see the shock on Professor Zoom's face.

Bang!

One crisp gunshot.

Clang...

The shell casing fell from high above, bounced three or four times beside their feet, then rolled away with a rattle until it came to Li Zu, who was bound by the Lasso of Truth.

Batman held up a pistol. Who had fired the shot was obvious.

It was a "simple" scheme, meant to give Flash a chance to regain his rhythm amid Professor Zoom's fierce assault.

The only thing beyond Li Zu's expectations was that Batman had actually shot Professor Zoom in the head!

That further accelerated the end of everything, making his plans afterward impossible to carry out.

Reverse-Flash lowered his gaze and watched Li Zu, who had long since freed himself from the Lasso of Truth, rub his arm as he climbed up from the ground.

Everything just now had been an act.

Beside Li Zu, Batman stood with a gloomy expression, holding the Lasso of Truth as he watched him.

And Flash was charging toward them at high speed from behind!

The pain in his forehead snapped Professor Zoom back to his senses.

Li Zu rubbed the marks left by the rope around his wrist, his body swaying unsteadily.

"The truest thing in the world is that plans can't keep up with changes."

He glanced at the Lasso of Truth in Batman's hand. It was a very interesting toy, but Batman did not look like someone willing to part with his "beloved" toys.

Professor Zoom stiffened, then finally stopped, his eyes locking onto Li Zu.

"You win!"

"Huh?" Li Zu found it strange, but Professor Zoom had already fallen to the ground and become a corpse.

What did Professor Zoom mean?

Before Li Zu could think about Professor Zoom's words, someone grabbed him by the collar and began moving at high speed.

"Run, Barry!" Batman shouted.

With Professor Zoom no longer stealing the Speed Force, Flash's running speed began to rise rapidly.

Li Zu only wanted to ask one question: why bring him along? But the wind stuffed his mouth shut and even pulled his face out of shape.

His hair felt as though it were about to catch fire.

"You have to take this guy back, Barry! Make sure that world returns to normal!" Batman's voice was right behind him, but in the end, the fierce wind filling Li Zu's ears drowned it all out.

Li Zu was forced to board the Flash Express,

as they raced out of London and ran across the surface of the English Channel.

Their speed surpassed even Li Zu's ability to think.

He had no idea what was happening.

Only in the final moment when Flash carried him out of this Flashpoint World did he see a dazzling light erupting from the English Channel.

An entire continent had been reduced to dust.

That was perhaps Aquaman's "ultimate weapon."

When the words "ultimate weapon" fully formed in Li Zu's mind, he did not even have time to marvel at its power before he found himself in a strange place.

The people here wore yellow prison uniforms.

Each one was like a beast trapped in a cage, freely baring his fangs.

"I think you belong here. Once I go back and get some sleep, we'll meet again~"

Flash threw Li Zu into one of the cells, then turned into lightning and vanished.

"Hm? Why is there an extra person here?" A patrolling guard happened to walk over and looked curiously at Li Zu, who wore a green suit and was covered in blood.

Prisoners escaping was normal, but an extra person appearing in prison was clearly not normal!

"May I ask where this is?" Li Zu did his best to appear friendly.

"No matter why you came here,"

the guard revealed a nasty grin. "Leaving this place is impossible... This is Blackgate Penitentiary. Interested in making a record with me?"

Li Zu smiled as well. "With pleasure!"
