Personality

Fang Han is disciplined, strategic, and intensely focused on martial advancement. Having experienced helpless poverty and nearly died before beginning cultivation, he considers strength the only reliable way to protect his family and determine his own fate. Fang Han is increasingly unwilling to let old acquaintances use sentiment, obligation, or romance to dictate his choices. He refused Lin Rou’s attempt to pressure him into rescuing her brother, and he also declined Zheng Hongfeng’s suggestion of marriage to Zheng Yuanming, choosing to prioritize cultivation and a future departure for Lingzhou Prefecture. 420
