Background

Fang Han was raised in extreme poverty in Mud Bay Alley, Azure Cloud Outer City, alongside his grandfather Fang Yuanshan, grandmother Madam Liu, mother Chen Cui, elder brother Fang Ding, and younger sister Fang Rui. The family’s meals consisted largely of mixed-grain porridge, and his martial tuition was funded through his grandmother’s coffin savings and Fang Ding’s dangerous dock work. 1 2

Five days after catching a valuable Spirit Fish, Fang Han was ambushed in an alley, robbed, and left unconscious for three days. When he awoke, he possessed memories from a previous life as a modern office worker.
