The Rocket Crossbow Debuts
"Where is Old Malfoy now?" Lester was getting anxious. Young Malfoy was one of their own, and it was unacceptable that his own men had kidnapped his father.
Hafiz was somewhat embarrassed. "Sorry, Brother Lai, that Old Malfoy is too cunning and extremely good at escaping. We chased him across most of Britain but couldn't catch him. Now he has escaped back to the Malfoy family home."
Lester breathed a sigh of relief. Thank goodness he hadn't kidnapped Draco's father; that would have been too embarrassing.
"Alright, don't target the Malfoy family anymore; they're our allies," Lester said calmly. "Oh, and that fat director's son, let him go back too. Then give them a few tickets to United States, and I don't want to see them in the Wizarding World again."
The fat director's son had no grudge against him; he was just unlucky enough to witness the kidnapping. He wasn't a killer who would murder entire families at the drop of a hat.
Forgive and forget; letting the family go to America is a good deed.
"I'm such a saint!" Lester thought to himself with smug satisfaction.
Azkaban, a place that strikes fear into the hearts of countless wizards, is now witnessing the quiet emergence of a vast urban complex on the island.
Inside the Headmaster's Office at Azkaban Vocational Technical School.
A magnificent and vibrant painting, located on the back wall of the Headmaster's Office, depicts Lester's first speech in Azkaban Prison.
Below the painting is a handsome young man, lounging in a rocking chair, flipping through a book of Dark Magic.
On the octagonal table was a pile of Dark Magic books that the Ministry of Magic called taboo, and a steaming cup of coffee was placed in front of Lester.
"The life of the powerful and wealthy is just so mundane!" Lester sighed, taking a sip of his coffee.
Just then, a knock sounded at the door. Lester called out, "Come in!" and then Victor excitedly walked in carrying a flying broomstick.
Seeing the familiar flying broom in Victor's hand, Lester's spirits lifted. Wasn't that the Rocket Crossbow from the original story?
Before Lester could speak, Victor greeted him respectfully and then eagerly began the introduction:
"Lord Lai, I've thoroughly studied the blueprints you gave me, and the finished product has already been produced. Please take a look!"
Sure enough, when he returned, he handed over the blueprints for the Enhanced Rocket Crossbow to Victor. Unexpectedly, Victor developed the finished product in just a few days.
After taking the Rocket Crossbow, Lester immediately began experimenting in the Headmaster's Office. He was now very wealthy, and the Headmaster's Office was built to be extremely large, totaling 300 square meters, which was more than enough for Lester to test his flying broom.
"Not bad, can we mass-produce them?" After landing, Lester casually placed the Rocket Crossbow on the table.
Victor quickly replied, "Yes, Lord Lai, the blueprints you gave me are simply amazing; all the data is written down clearly."
"My students and I have thoroughly studied these blueprints. As soon as we open the factory, we can start mass production!"
Lester was overjoyed. This Victor was truly a talent; he had figured out the Rocket Crossbow so quickly.
"How many Rocket Crossbow can your lab produce per day?" Lester asked.
"Five," Victor replied. Seemingly worried Lester might be dissatisfied, Victor explained, "Because we have limited manpower, we can only produce five a day."
"But if we recruit wizard workers and implement mechanized production, the output of Rocket Crossbow can definitely be greatly increased!"
Lester was very satisfied. "Don't rush it. You can produce 100 Rocket Crossbow for now. As for the factory, I will arrange it myself."
Victor was overjoyed, left the Rocket Crossbow with Lester, and then left the Headmaster's Office.
After Victor left, Lester's joy was already evident on his face.
The Rocket Crossbow is finally ready for release, and Azkaban Interest Group is finally about to have its first profit point.
Previously, the prisoners obtained money through illegal means, and were unorganized and undisciplined, relying entirely on their own formidable strength and their almost ruthless mental fortitude.
But this won't lead to anything great. You need a project that can generate long-term profits to make this big ship sail further.
The Rocket Crossbow's current performance absolutely crushes all flying brooms on the market. I believe that as soon as the Rocket Crossbow is released, Quidditch enthusiasts throughout the Wizarding World will go crazy for it. At that time, I can go around making money.
"A Biao, Hafiz, you two come here for a moment," Lester said calmly, picking up the walkie-talkie.
A few minutes later, Sang Biao and Hafiz walked in and greeted them respectfully.
Lester handed them the Rocket Crossbow on the table and said casually, "Do we have a shop in Diagon Alley? I'm planning to open a flying broomstick shop."
"Yes, yes, yes!" Sang Biao hurriedly replied, "We raided the homes of those three Pure-blood families in Flint before, and among them were several deeds to Diagon Alley."
"Those shops are already in our hands; we can use them whenever we need them."
Lester was very satisfied. "How are the locations of those shops?"
Even the best products need marketing; if the shop is too small or in a bad location, it will significantly impact sales.
With a strange expression, Sang Biao said, "Lord Lai, those shops are all in great locations, and the largest one is even in the Diagon Alley."
"And the most coincidental thing is... that shop was rented by the Flint family to the Nimbus Company, which also sells flying brooms."
Rivalry is common among competitors, and there are quite a few flying broom companies in the Wizarding World. Among them, the Nimbus Company is a behemoth that has monopolized the flying broom market in the England Wizarding World for decades.
"Most importantly, this Nimbus Company is extremely arrogant." Sang Biao's face was extremely ugly. "Before, when we went to them with the Flint family's land deeds to ask for rent, they actually kicked our people out."
"They also said that old Flint rented the shop to them, and they would only pay rent when old Flint asked them for it. They even called us robbers!"
"We were all busy kidnapping... oops... inviting Mr. Malfoy to Azkaban back then, so we ignored them."
Lester was almost laughing in exasperation at the arrogant Nimbus Company for not paying his rent and calling themselves robbers.
"Tell their manager to take their trash and get out of my shop right now, immediately!"
"If they don't cooperate, just take some men and kick them all out!"
This is ridiculous! A tiny Nimbus Company dares to bully us!
