Background

Draco is the sole heir of the Malfoy family, a wealthy Pure-blood household. He was raised under strict parental supervision, with his social contacts selected according to family background rather than personal preference; even outings were ordinarily controlled by his parents and scheduled around etiquette lessons. He first encounters Harry Potter and Lester Bide at Madam Malkin's in Diagon Alley.
