Deadly Game (Thanks to Mars Coffee Shop Manager for the Love-Powered Support, Thank You)
As night fell, a fierce storm raged.
The raindrops pelted the roof in a dense, crackling sound, like popping beans.
The streetlights outside the window were blurred by the rain, making it impossible to see anything.
Su Yu stood by the window, watching the splashes of water outside, and drank the last bit of whiskey in his glass.
He had been at the hotel for almost three hours and had no idea what the situation was like outside.
Here, he lost all his abilities— Chakra, magic, physique—he was completely gone, as weak as a Muggle.
Of course, Su Yu's three hours were not wasted; he had figured out the logic of this world, or rather, the rules of the game.
This is a suspenseful story. On a stormy night, in a gloomy hotel, there are twelve guests and the hotel owner, a total of thirteen people.
Why is it a mystery? Because the first victim has just appeared. When he was found, he was lying in his room with a pool of blood on the floor. His face showed shock, as if he was filled with disbelief when he saw the murderer.
It's great. Su Yu doesn't understand why an Eastern mask would bring him to a hotel in the United States. It's so disjointed.
Based on the current situation, it seems that there are only two paths ahead: survive or find the murderer.
Fortunately, it wasn't some third-rate monster movie. If it were, Su Yu felt he wouldn't be able to survive. Judging from the current situation, it was just a simple murder case.
Su Yu had just asked the owner and also went out to investigate himself. The hotel was built in the desolate western desert of the United States, connected only by an interstate highway, and all of their cars had been destroyed by the murderer.
It's so brainless, and this group of people is even more of a bunch of hypocrites. They clearly encountered a murder case, but instead of gathering together, they even argued that doing so would restrict their freedom. Ha, Su Yu couldn't help but sigh, "Truly, it's the free America. They'd rather die than not care about freedom."
Su Yu sighed. "If that's the case, it's just about finding the murderer, right? It's simple. I'll become the murderer and kill you all, won't that solve it?"
Without further ado, there were 13 people. Excluding Su Yu, the Asian, and the one who had died, there were only 11 left. Among them were five women and one child. Leaving these simplest ones for last, the remaining ones were an FBI agent, a hotel owner, a guy, an old man, and the last one, an LGBT person. The buffs were all there, which was quite thoughtful.
The most important of them are the FBI agent, the hotel owner, and the most powerful of the five women.
After analyzing the situation in his mind, Su Yu went to the kitchen, grabbed a cleaver, and prepared to get to work.
"Hi, sir, I seem to have a question I'd like to ask you."
Su Yu's first choice was that agent. Even though he had lost his power, he still remembered all the martial arts moves. These were Sickle couldn't be forgotten.
The two entered the room.
"Mr. Su, have you made any new discoveries?"
The detective thought Su Yu had discovered something, but before he could turn around, Su Yu covered his mouth. He then felt a chill on his neck, and blood gushed out. He finally collapsed to the ground.
"First one." Su Yu took out a towel, wiped the blood off the knife handle, and smiled. "Let's see who's more professional. Hope you won't be too surprised."
Meanwhile, the killer is still meticulously planning his next target...
"Very well, the innkeeper is dead too, next up is that guy."
After swiftly and cleanly killing his second target, Su Yu changed his clothes, went to the door of the other room, knocked, went inside, and emerged a short while later, covered in blood.
"What a coincidence, taking care of two at once, not even bothered by the mess... How disgusting, only one female lead left, hehehehe."
The night passed... When the murderer woke up, he suddenly opened his eyes wide. He smelled an extremely strong stench of blood, as if... He rushed out barefoot without even buttoning his clothes.
In the hall, Su Yu killed the last adult and moved all eleven corpses into the hall, arranging them in their proper places and making them sit in chairs. For those whose heads had been severed, he used an iron rod to pierce through them and fix them in place.
"Little kid, you're finally awake! Did you enjoy the murder mystery game? Hehehehehe."
Su Yu sat among the eleven people, looking at the child who was covering his mouth, afraid to make a sound.
"Rebellion? Heartbreak? Or a psychopath? Forget it, it's no use talking about it now."
Su Yu stared at the little boy and continued speaking.
"But I'm not a saint. Since you want to kill them all, then I'll kill them all for you. Surprised? Unexpected? Shouldn't you say thank you?"
"Big... big brother... I didn't... I didn't kill anyone!"
The little boy desperately tried to hide the truth, disguising himself as innocent, naive, and carefree, in an attempt to conceal his volatile, distorted, and manic inner world. But how did he discover this person's true nature?
"Surprised? Because in a suspense film, the detective is always a hero who has to sacrifice himself in the end, so he's the first one we can eliminate. The hotel owner, if he weren't sick, he wouldn't kill his own customer, unless it's a monster movie, but this is a suspense film, so he's also eliminated."
With his blood-dripping hand, Su Yu picked up a bottle of soda from the table, pulled the Griphook, took a sip, and continued to educate the child.
"As for LGBT, that's even more impossible; it would invite public criticism."
The little boy looked at Su Yu with a bewildered expression. What public opinion attack?
"That strong woman will definitely be the last survivor, so she can be eliminated. The remaining few naive girls don't have the brains, which leaves only that old man. But don't forget, that old man is a native. So, after all is said and done, only you and I are left."
What kind of twisted logic is this? Why can't an Indian be the murderer? And why can't that guy and that transgender armed helicopter guy be the murderers?
The little boy's head was filled with big questions. Last night, before he went to sleep, he was thinking about how to continue his murder game without anyone noticing. But when he woke up, the sky had fallen. Mom, there's a psychopathic killer in the hotel!
"I was just too lazy to explain the logic. How could they possibly believe the murderer was a child? So I just killed them all. Now, it's your turn, hehehehe."
As he spoke, Su Yu picked up a crossbow he had found the night before, pulled the trigger, and shot at the little boy.
Goodnight, Makka Pakka.
