Background

Taike was sealed within a spatial stone shortly after birth and brought from the Sadea World to Blue Star by Zuo Yi. When it hatched, Bao'er was the first person it saw; their resulting spiritual resonance made them inseparable companions. Zuo Yi intended Taike not only as Bao'er's pet, but as her lifelong guardian. 25 96

Although Taike initially appears to be a fluffy white puppy, it carries the bloodline of the legendary Abyssal Cerberus. Its true nature is evident whenever it intimidates other beasts, attacks threats to Bao'er, or assumes its Giant Form. 35 364

Zuo Yi trains and tests Taike as danger around Bao'er increases. Following its growth-stage completion, Taike becomes a capable combatant with several innate Abyssal abilities; Zuo Yi considers its presence a meaningful additional safeguard for his daughter. 364

Appearance

Taike usually takes the form of a round, snow-white puppy with bright black eyes and an exceptionally expressive face. Its harmless appearance conceals the aura and instincts of a top-tier magical beast. 87

Personality

Taike is gluttonous, cunning, proud, and highly protective of Bao'er. It routinely steals food, manipulates people with its appearance, and regards steak or beef jerky as a major reward. Its appetite is immense enough to make ordinary pet food impractical. 25 87 364

Despite its arrogance toward strangers and other animals, Taike is deeply attached to Bao'er. It seeks her affection, fears losing her attention to Pipi or Mephis, and instinctively shields her when threatened. 100 447

Taike is obedient—but primarily because it is terrified of Zuo Yi, whom it privately regards as the “Great Demon King.” It may attempt to act cute or feign innocence, but promptly submits whenever Zuo Yi is serious. 28 364 394
