Since their master said they were taking the sea route, Yizhe and the others could only follow her by sea.

That was just Tsunade's temperament. There was no room for negotiation. Unless he and Shizune could beat Tsunade, there might have been a chance to bargain.

In the end, through Mifune's connections, they found a ship willing to take them out to sea and head for Snow Country.

"Yizhe, look!" Shizune pointed toward the dock and cried out in delight. "What a huge ship!"

He looked in the direction of her voice. Beside the snow-covered dock lay a large vessel nearly seven or eight zhang long.

It was a wooden ship with a light covering of snow, though someone had presumably cleaned it already. The vessel was dark brown all over, with upturned pointed ends, like a black crescent moon floating on the water. Its rail stood about one zhang above the sea, and its mast rose high into the air. Even without its sails unfurled, Yizhe could guess that they had to be enormous.

Seeing her little face flushed red with excitement, Yizhe smiled and asked, "Is this Shizune's first time seeing the sea?"

"Mm!" Shizune nodded earnestly.

Although Shizune had drifted from place to place with Tsunade over the past few years, she had never gone to sea. This was her first time seeing the ocean and such a huge ship. With a young girl's nature stirred up, she could not help feeling excited.

"I just hope you can stay this happy!" Yizhe said meaningfully.

"What do you mean?" Shizune asked, confused.

"You'll find out after you board!"

He deliberately kept silent with a mysterious air, making Shizune even more curious. Unfortunately, no matter how she tried to pry it out of him, Yizhe refused to tell her.
