"Hey, Malfoy, did your mother send you something tasty again?"
Crabbe looked at the package Malfoy had received and called out eagerly.
"Of course. Let me see what it is this time." Malfoy was very pleased with Crabbe's tact, so he raised his voice without hesitation, lifted the large package, and said,
"Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans!"
"Nice! There are so many flavors I like here: smoked bacon, bouillabaisse, chocolate, curry... Oh, heavens, there's even my absolute favorite—French beef stew!"
"Do you know how hard it is to get French beef stew and bouillabaisse flavored Every Flavor Beans?"
Malfoy pulled out two packs of Every Flavor Beans and cheered as he showed them off. His gaze deliberately drifted toward Gryffindor, toward Harry's side.
Ron Weasley was drawn over by Malfoy's voice and looked on with envy.
He had been lucky enough to taste those two flavors Malfoy mentioned once. Their deliciousness was simply beyond description.
Harry had never tried them, but he could not help feeling a little eager now.
Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans supposedly came in more than seven hundred flavors, several of which were especially extreme.
For example, vomit-flavored, earwax-flavored, and booger-flavored ones.
Harry had eaten some on the train, but fortunately, he had not gotten any of those disgusting flavors.
Besides, he had eaten quite a few while sharing them with his dormmates.
But he had never tasted flavors like the ones Malfoy mentioned.
They were rare, and tasting them required luck.
Of course, if you had the means, you could get them specially.
"Hey, Neville, you actually got a little package. Hurry and open it—what is it?"
Ron pulled his envious gaze away from Malfoy and was about to continue eating his food when he saw a small package land in Neville's hands.
Neville excitedly opened the package with his chubby little hands. Inside was a glass ball the size of an egg.
"What is that? Why is it full of white mist? It looks rather pretty," Harry asked curiously.
"It's a Remembrall, Harry," Neville explained with a smile.
At the mention of his grandmother, Neville's face filled with childish happiness.
His grandmother had always taken good care of him.
"Gran knows I'm always forgetting things, and this Remembrall tells me whether I've forgotten to do something."
"Look, if you hold it tightly in your hand like this, it turns red... and then..."
At that point, Neville's face immediately fell, and he looked completely lost.
Harry, Hermione Granger, and Ron looked at Neville, then at one another, not knowing what to say.
In the end, Ron pointed at Neville, who was holding the Remembrall and trying hard to remember what he had forgotten, and hesitantly asked, "Did he forget something?"
Harry and Hermione both nodded in agreement.
Just then, Malfoy, who had already noticed Harry's group, came over to the Gryffindor table and snatched the Remembrall from Neville's hand.
"Ooh, let me see what this is."
"It looks quite interesting. I wonder what will happen if I throw it onto the ground?"
Malfoy held Neville's Remembrall and smiled smugly.
Malfoy had paid plenty of attention to Harry. He knew that Harry had seemingly received no packages apart from a letter from Hagrid.
Ron from the Weasley family was the same.
Hermione Granger, on the other hand, seemed rather well-off and had received quite a few packages.
Harry and Ron had not expected Malfoy to come over specifically to snatch Neville's Remembrall, and both grew angry at once.
"Malfoy, give Neville back his Remembrall!" Harry stared at Malfoy seriously and warned, "Otherwise, I won't be polite."
"Malfoy, give Neville back his Remembrall now, or I'll tell Professor McGonagall," Ron said from beside him.
Malfoy dismissed Harry and Ron's warnings with contempt. He took two steps back and said, "Why should I give it back to him? It's in my hands now, so it's mine."
Harry was furious. He felt that Malfoy was being completely unreasonable, always relying on his so-called pure-blood family to bully others.
So Harry took out his wand, ready to teach Malfoy a lesson.
Seeing this, Malfoy smiled and snapped his fingers. Crabbe and Goyle appeared behind him, their fists clenched as they stared threateningly at Harry and Ron.
Ron was somewhat intimidated when he saw Crabbe and Goyle, because they were both big and sturdy.
"Want to fight? It's three against two. We're not afraid of you."
"Harry, you can't use magic here. You know the consequences if you do."
Malfoy kept tossing the Remembrall in his hand. Every time it flew up and was caught again, Harry's group grew extremely tense, afraid it would slip from Malfoy's hand, fall to the ground, and shatter.
Hearing that, Harry said to Malfoy, "I'll be punished, and so will you. You'll definitely be the one who broke the rules first."
As he spoke, Harry Potter raised his wand, intending to teach Malfoy a lesson.
"What's going on?"
"Harry, are you planning to use magic here?"
Professor McGonagall walked over with a stern expression, staring at Harry's wand as she spoke in a low voice.
"Professor McGonagall, Malfoy stole my Remembrall and tried to keep it for himself." Neville looked flustered when he saw Professor McGonagall, but in order to keep Harry from being punished, he hurriedly spoke up.
Professor McGonagall then looked at Malfoy and the Remembrall in his hand, saying sternly, "Malfoy, you need to give me an explanation."
Malfoy darkened his face and quickly put the Remembrall on the table.
"Just you wait, Harry. I'll be waiting for you in flying class."
After saying that, Malfoy slunk away, with Crabbe and Goyle following close behind.
Neville got his Remembrall back and examined it carefully, immensely relieved that it was not broken.
He still needed the Remembrall to help him remember things!
Professor McGonagall gave Harry a deep look before warning him, "Observe the school rules. Don't let it happen again."
With that, Professor McGonagall turned and left.
Harry, Ron, and Hermione all breathed sighs of relief, afraid that Professor McGonagall would deduct ten points from each of them right then. That would have been truly terrifying.
If they were not careful, the Gryffindor upperclassmen would drown them in spit.
In the teachers' area, Katelyle had also noticed what had happened and smiled.
The current Harry was much stronger and more decisive than the Harry in the story.
Otherwise, how would he have dared to pull out his wand in the dining hall?
"If I remember correctly, they have a flying class together this afternoon, don't they?"
"I wonder what kind of clash they'll have?"
Katelyle watched Harry's group laughing together again and murmured to himself before smiling expectantly.
On the other side of the teachers' area, Professor Quirrell had also noticed Harry's group. When he shifted his gaze and it landed on Katelyle, his expression turned somewhat unpleasant.
After the meal ended, Dumbledore waved his wand, and all the food on the tables was cleared away to where it belonged.
Dumbledore then stood up and smilingly announced some good news to everyone.
"Children, I have an important piece of good news to tell you."
"The Elemental Magic Academy has been completed, and classes can officially begin tomorrow."
"Tomorrow morning, all students and teachers will also go to the Elemental Magic Academy together to hear Professor Kate teach us Elemental Magic Studies."
"I hope everyone will arrive on time tomorrow morning. This is a very serious and important matter."
Students such as Harry, Hermione, and Malfoy, who had long been looking forward to Elemental Magic Studies, all cheered when Dumbledore announced the good news.
Seeing this, Dumbledore chuckled, then looked at Katelyle and even gave him a mischievous wink.
Katelyle nearly laughed out loud.
Albus, so this was the kind of Dumbledore you were.
