As long as Hagrid kept moving underground, the yellow energy shield before him could continuously draw upon the Earth Element energy contained within the ground, maintaining and reinforcing itself to block the magic attacks coming from every direction.
"Ha! With magic damage like that, you think you can break my defense? Keep dreaming."
