As time passed, the Hogwarts fighters across the various Astral Battlefields gradually grew weary, but the thrill of battle and their string of victories kept their spirits high.

At the same time, their combat experience grew, and their trials in blood accumulated.

Grindelwald's side, however, was having a miserable time.

Never mind the ten thousand Saints cannon fodder being brutally crushed by the elite white wizards; on the other Astral Battlefields, many of the mid- and upper-tier Saints were also sinking deeper into despair.

They clearly had the advantage in numbers, yet the white wizards facing them had sturdy shields that were difficult to breach and could reflect attacks. Every spell they cast came in pairs, and elusive little flying swords darted around them, splitting and merging with a vibrating hum that wore down their fighting spirit and made them impossible to guard against.

If they reacted a moment too late, the magical boxes floating around the white wizards—called Treasure Caskets, but effectively coffins—would suddenly fly out and expand, sealing them alive inside.

By taking precautions beforehand, they had finally managed to counter the white wizards' Tranquility Charms with newly devised Dark Magic that forcibly stirred up the malice in their hearts.

But then those Hogwarts brats sprang another underhanded trick, silently releasing little insects that could turn invisible and intangible. They slipped into the Saints' ears and twisted their thoughts into a tangled mess.

On top of that, the strange astral environment cut them off, preventing them from contacting their leader, Grindelwald, through their Saints' Marks. Even though the Saints were vicious and possessed wills far stronger than ordinary people, quite a few inevitably began to break down emotionally.
