A dozen or so identical black luxury cars appeared on the streets of London today. Anyone unaware of the situation would have thought some important figure was traveling.
The convoy arrived at the train station, and the door of the black sedan in the middle opened.
"Boss, we're at the station."
Mike got out and opened the door on the other side. Lyon, dressed in a gray suit, waved a hand.
"The others don't need to follow."
Mike waved as well, and the men behind them stayed put. Lyon and Mike entered the station.
The moment they entered, they saw several strangely dressed men and women standing inside. They were probably wizards, and the people around them looked at them as if they were insane.
Mike followed Lyon to a pillar between Platforms Nine and Ten. Lyon cautiously reached a hand toward it.
His hand passed through.
Without hesitation, the two of them walked through the wall.
"Lyon!"
The moment they passed through the wall, noise surrounded them. Then a little girl's delighted voice rang out. Before Lyon could react, a warm, fragrant body threw itself into his arms.
Looking down, he found little Hermione excitedly pressed against his chest.
The moment little Hermione looked up and met Lyon's eyes, her face instantly flushed bright red. Realizing her loss of composure, she hurriedly let go and straightened her clothes.
"Ahem, ahem. Lyon, why are you only getting here now?"
Little Hermione did not dare look at Lyon, and her voice was noticeably quieter than before.
Lyon smiled. "Have you been waiting here for me the whole time?"
"Of course not. I was just about to get on the train, and I happened to see you come in."
Little Hermione curled her lips and refused to admit it. Lyon merely smiled and rubbed Hermione's fluffy little head. Strangely, she did not resist. "Where are your parents?"
"They just left."
Lyon was about to say something else when a voice suddenly sounded behind him.
"Oh, Mr. Shelby! We meet again."
Turning around, he saw Lucius Malfoy.
Behind Lucius stood a boy with an extremely unwilling expression. It was Draco Malfoy.
Draco panicked slightly after glancing at Lyon, but quickly calmed himself. Then he noticed Hermione beside Lyon, and an unconscious sneer appeared at the corner of his mouth.
The people around them were surprised to hear Lucius's voice. As the head of one of the Sacred Twenty-Eight pure-blood families, why was Lucius greeting a newly enrolled boy with such enthusiasm?
But when they saw what happened next, they were even more shocked.
Lucius glanced at Draco beside him, his gaze stern. "Draco, why aren't you greeting Mr. Shelby?"
"It's fine, Mr. Malfoy." Lyon smiled. He naturally understood Draco's personality.
He would not respond to kindness. Only when someone truly displayed enough power to grind him into the ground would someone like him genuinely submit.
"By the way, Mr. Shelby, there is something I need to tell you." Lucius looked at Lyon seriously, then swept his eyes over the surroundings and found that many ears had already turned in their direction.
They all wanted to know who Lyon really was and why Lucius respected him so much.
Lyon was a little puzzled. His relationship with Lucius was merely business dealings, so he did not know what Lucius wanted to say this time.
After telling little Hermione to wait where she was and asking Mike to protect her, Lyon followed Lucius to a corner.
"Mr. Shelby, a force has recently arrived in Britain. It is extremely powerful."
Lyon narrowed his eyes as he listened to Lucius.
"Moreover, the Malfoy Family's businesses have all experienced major fluctuations. The Austrian and Russian Ministry of Magic have canceled their cooperation with me. I suspect there is a problem."
Lucius was deeply troubled. "I heard that your Razor Gang has recently been looking for shops in both Diagon Alley and Knockturn Alley. That unknown force is doing the same."
"Oh, don't look at me like that, Mr. Shelby." Seeing Lyon's suspicious gaze, Lucius gave a bitter smile. He now completely regarded Lyon as someone on his own level.
"I understand your suspicions. In my view, the Razor Gang will become a force not to be underestimated. I am merely a businessman. I do not have the power to contend against those massive forces, so I have always liked making friends."
After Lucius finished speaking, he stared steadily at Lyon.
Countless thoughts ran through Lyon's mind. He felt as though an invisible net had enveloped him.
This force had never been mentioned in the original story, and according to Mike, the people who killed his parents might not have been so simple either.
It was a mystery. He did not know whether this force was targeting him.
Lyon suddenly smiled.
"Fine. I'll be your friend."
"Then, Mr. Shelby, please accept this. It is a small token of my sincerity. I hope that at school, you can help me keep Draco in line. I can't get through to him."
Lucius took a hard object from his pocket and pressed it into Lyon's hand. Lyon glanced at it and found that it was a badge bearing the Malfoy Family crest.
"This is...?"
"This is the Malfoy family trade card. With this card, you will receive VIP treatment anywhere associated with the Malfoy Family."
Lyon nodded and did not stand on ceremony. "Then I'll thank you for your generosity, Mr. Malfoy."
He was not afraid of the forces behind all this. Over the past year, he had endured so much hardship that it felt even harder than his previous life.
He had worked so hard to establish the Razor Gang. He was already in the game.
Since he was in the game, then he would sit at the table and have some fun!
The two talked for a while longer before leaving. The moment Lyon returned to the station, he noticed that little Hermione had her lips pressed tightly together.
When she saw Lyon, a glimmer of brightness flashed through her eyes.
"All right, Mr. Shelby, I won't disturb you any longer."
As they parted, they drew countless curious gazes from the people around them. Lyon did not care and took little Hermione's hand as they headed toward the Hogwarts Express.
As soon as they reached the train entrance, they saw several red-haired boys standing there, with a middle-aged woman surrounded by them.
"Oh, Harry, I'm so sorry for bringing up something painful."
"Ron, come here. Give Mum a hug."
Judging by the voices, this was Harry and Ron's family.
It seemed Harry had already gotten to know Ron's family. Ron was currently being held tightly by Mrs. Weasley, who planted a hard kiss on his cheek.
"Oh, Ron, let Mum give you a kiss!"
Beside them, two nearly identical boys mimicked Mrs. Weasley's tone and deliberately acted overly mushy, making a cute red-haired little girl nearby giggle.
These were the Weasley twins, George and Fred, among Lyon's favorite characters from the original story. The little girl giggling beside them was probably Ginny.
"Lyon, we meet again."
When Harry saw Lyon arrive, his gaze flickered away. He did not know why, but he always felt somewhat inferior in front of Lyon.
Lyon smiled politely, then looked at Mrs. Weasley. "Oh, you must be Mrs. Weasley. You have such an outstanding presence."
Mrs. Weasley giggled at his words. "Oh, child, you must be Harry's classmate. How did you know who I was?"
"Oh, the Weasley family is famous for its strict upbringing. Bill, Charlie, and these two geniuses, George and Fred."
"I heard Charlie Weasley has even gone abroad to raise dragons now?"
"You must be Percy, then. You should be Gryffindor's prefect. It's a pleasure to meet you."
When meeting Mrs. Weasley, what should he praise?
Her appearance? She did not care much about that. Wealth? There was nothing to praise there. What Mrs. Weasley was most proud of were her children.
Lyon deliberately mentioned the children Mrs. Weasley was especially proud of, and even included the other members of the Weasley family.
He had built a good relationship with the Weasley family in just a few sentences. Why not?
"Oh, child, you're such a gentleman. You're making me embarrassed!"
Mrs. Weasley felt that she had not met such a polite child in a long time. Meanwhile, Percy, looking conspicuously self-important, solemnly stepped forward and shook Lyon's hand.
"Oh, sir, I am Percy. It is an honor to meet you."
"Hello, I'm Lyon Shelby."
The smile on Lyon's face stiffened. He had met the British Prime Minister before, yet even then he had not felt things were this formal.
Sure enough, the young king of posing lived up to his reputation. Lyon could hardly imagine how much Percy would show off after joining the Ministry of Magic.
"Lyon Shelby?"
Percy suddenly froze, looking somewhat dazed.
Lyon was a little worried that Percy had learned his identity and would never stop showing off in front of him. Just then, Bill and Fred stepped forward to rescue him.
"Oh, my esteemed Mr. Shelby, hello. I'm George."
Imitating Percy's pretentious manner, George solemnly stepped forward and shook Lyon's hand. Fred teased from the side.
"Oh, Merlin's underpants, being able to shake your hand... no, I simply must bow before you."
