Background / History
The Qiu Family initially moved against the Li Family through covert violence. Its core disciples used the distinctive Bone-Eroding Force in the massacre at Skywood Village, where Li Family personnel and villagers were killed to lure Li Xuansheng into an ambush 1.
Core Elder Qiu Wanhe, the Level 94 Bone-Eroding Douluo, led the ambush against Li Xuansheng. He was killed by Chen Jianjun, and the surviving Qiu Family Soul Masters were sent back with a warning to Qiu Miehun 1 2. The family then sought intelligence on the unknown powerhouse behind Wanhe's death while preparing revenge against the Li Family 2 3.
After encountering Li Xuansheng's group in Azure Jade Forest, the Qiu Family attempted to eliminate Li Xuansheng, Li Tianji, Dongyue Qingxuan, and the younger members of both allied families. The attempt failed; Qiu Qianlie sacrificed himself to enable Qiu Qiansha's escape, while the Qiu Family lost three Titled Douluo and numerous lower-ranked experts 12 14.
Qiu Qianchi subsequently organized a formal war effort, including funerals for fallen members, recovery for wounded elders, resource mobilization, and a declaration of war against the Li Family 16. The family launched an early nighttime assault on the Li estate with Qiu Qianchi, three Super Douluo, and six Titled Douluo, causing severe casualties before being forced to retreat 18 21 22.
Following the failed raid, the Qiu Family allied with Five Poisons Valley and committed its remaining strength to a larger offensive. The alliance sought not only to destroy the Li Family but also to use Heavenly Phoenix City as a means of pressuring the Dongyue Clan and ultimately targeting Heavenly Heart City 24 25.
Qiu Qianchen later violated the ancient covenant restricting divine-level intervention by personally attacking alongside Five Poisons Valley's Xie Miaojiang. After their first withdrawal, Qiu Qianchen and Xie Miaojiang recruited Sea Whale Gang Supreme Elder Du Yunhe for a renewed invasion, but all three Divine Official-level attackers were killed 37 43 44 50.
With its divine ancestor dead and its military foundation shattered, the Qiu Family could no longer resist the Li and Dongyue forces. Its remaining troops were either killed or subdued, its treasury and inherited resources were seized, and the Li Family took possession of Eastern Qiu City. Although the family ceased to exist as an organized power, the Li Family later investigated reports of possible Qiu remnants at Bolin Mountain 53 54 88.
