Background

Ning Rongrong comes from the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect and is described as its sect master's treasured daughter. A system scan identifies her as an obedient, well-behaved support-type Soul Master with full innate Soul Power. She travels outside her sect and applies to Shrek Academy, where her Seven Treasure Glazed Pagoda Martial Soul immediately earns her admission. 9

While waiting at Shrek, she meets Zhang Nan. His Twin Martial Souls surprise her, and his charm quickly wins her favor. After declining Shrek's offer himself, Zhang Nan takes her to dinner; she later agrees to become his girlfriend after he clarifies what he means by the term. 10

She subsequently enrolls at Shrek alongside Xiao Wu, meets Zhang Nan's Five Tiger Generals at a banquet, and grows familiar enough with them to spend time with the group. 15 19 20

Ning Rongrong is a tall, slender young woman with silky hair. She first appears in a short blue dress and later wears a cyan pendant hairpin given to her by Zhang Nan. 9 11 15

Ning Rongrong is portrayed as warm, curious, and easily delighted by unfamiliar experiences. Having rarely left her sect, she eagerly follows Zhang Nan into town, enjoys new foods and street treats, and readily accepts his attention and gifts. 10 11 12

She is affectionate and emotionally attached to Zhang Nan, becoming distressed when she believes he may no longer want her. 19 She also shows courage and contempt for cowardice when Oscar and Ma Hongjun fear a battle-loving Shrek student. 20
