Encountering Fuxi on the Journey Home

Upon a plain in the Primordial World's interior, grasses and trees flourished luxuriantly, while spiritual energy hung in the air like mist. The streaks of light formed by Xuan Chen and Nüwa slowly descended as they planned to rest briefly and replenish their spiritual energy.

After many days of long-distance travel, both had expended a considerable amount of vital essence. Xuan Chen in particular had depleted much of his Primordial Unity Origin Power in his battle against the Dragon Clan experts in the Eastern Sea, and needed time to recover.

Nüwa found a place rich in spiritual energy and sat down cross-legged. Circulating the Heaven-Mending Genesis Scripture, she absorbed the surrounding spiritual energy to restore her vital essence. Meanwhile, Xuan Chen released his divine sense to survey the area and ensure that no hidden danger lurked nearby.

Just then, Xuan Chen's divine sense detected a powerful innate Dao Resonance rapidly approaching from the distant forest. This Dao Resonance was pure and ancient, brimming with an innate aura; it clearly belonged to an innate divine being. "May I ask how I should address you, fellow Daoist?" the male innate divine being asked first, his tone gentle and touched with curiosity.

"My name is Nüwa." Nüwa rose to her feet and gave a slight nod. "May I ask your esteemed name, fellow Daoist? And why have you come to this place?"

"My name is Fuxi." The male innate divine being smiled faintly. "I possess the Primordial Eight-Trigrams Dao Body. Since my birth, I have wandered throughout the Primordial World, comprehending the great Dao of heaven and earth. Passing through this place today, I was drawn by the Chaos Dao Resonance upon you, fellow Daoist, and thus came to investigate. I never expected that you and I would share such a profound innate bond."

Fuxi was precisely the innate divine being who shared an innate sibling bond with Nüwa. Born with control over part of the Eight-Trigrams Dao Resonance, he excelled at deducing heavenly secrets and comprehending nature. His path complemented Nüwa's Creation Dao.

Standing to one side and watching their interaction, Xuan Chen's eyes flickered with understanding. He had not expected Nüwa to encounter Fuxi here. It seemed this was a fate ordained by the Heavenly Dao. Even without his intervention, the two would have met in the Primordial World.

"Fellow Daoist Fuxi, you and Nüwa indeed share an innate bond. This is a fate ordained by the Heavenly Dao." Xuan Chen stepped forward with a slight smile. "I am Xuan Chen, Nüwa's master. Does your journey of exploration have any particular purpose?"

If you do not mind, you may remain here for a while and exchange insights with Nüwa. Perhaps it will benefit your cultivation."

Delight flashed through Fuxi's eyes. He promptly said, "Thank you, Senior, for granting this! This junior was hoping for exactly that."

Xuan Chen nodded without saying more. He turned and walked to one side, continuing to restore his vital essence while releasing his divine sense to protect their safety. He knew that Fuxi and Nüwa's meeting would greatly benefit both of their cultivations. Fuxi's Eight-Trigrams Dao Resonance could help Nüwa better comprehend heaven, earth, and nature, while Nüwa's Creation Dao could also aid Fuxi's deductions of heavenly secrets.

Nüwa and Fuxi stood facing each other, then began to converse. "My Primordial Eight-Trigrams Dao Body excels in deducing heavenly secrets, yet lacks the power of creation. After speaking with you, my understanding of the Eight-Trigrams Dao Resonance has risen another level. Perhaps one day, I may fuse the Eight-Trigrams Dao Resonance with the power of creation and forge divine abilities unique to myself."

Nüwa smiled faintly. "You flatter me, Fellow Daoist Fuxi. Your Eight-Trigrams Dao Resonance is likewise unfathomably profound, granting me an entirely new understanding of the workings of heaven, earth, and nature. Though my Creation Dao is rooted in giving birth to life, it lacks insight into heavenly secrets. Should the opportunity arise in the future, I hope you will offer me much guidance."

"There is no need for courtesy, fellow Daoist. We need only learn from one another." Fuxi's eyes were filled with sincerity.

The two exchanged insights upon the plain for an entire day. Their relationship grew ever closer, and their innate bond became increasingly firm. Watching their interaction, a gratified smile appeared on Xuan Chen's face. He could sense that after today's exchange, both Nüwa and Fuxi had consolidated their Dao foundations, and their understanding of their respective Great Daos had risen to a new level.

"Alright, it is getting late. It is time for us to set out and return to the cave abode." Xuan Chen walked over and said, "Fellow Daoist Fuxi, if you are willing, you may accompany us to the Zichen Cave Abode as a guest, and continue exchanging cultivation insights with Nüwa."

A trace of hesitation flashed through Fuxi's eyes. He had originally planned to continue traveling throughout the Primordial World, yet after meeting Nüwa, he found himself reluctant to part with her. Furthermore, Senior Xuan Chen's strength was unfathomably profound. If he could remain at the Zichen Cave Abode for some time, perhaps he could learn even more.

"Thank you for the invitation, Senior. This junior is willing to visit the Zichen Cave Abode!" Fuxi ultimately agreed.

Xuan Chen nodded. "Good. Then let us depart now."

The three transformed into a streak of golden light and sped toward Mount Buzhou. Along the way, Xuan Chen traveled while explaining the points requiring attention in cultivation. Fuxi and Nüwa listened attentively beside him, occasionally raising questions of their own. Xuan Chen answered them patiently, and both gained greatly.

Several days later, the three returned safely to the Zichen Cave Abode. Xuan Chen arranged for Fuxi to reside in a side hall of the cave abode, then allowed Nüwa and Fuxi to continue their discussions on their own. He himself entered the cultivation chamber to digest the insights gained from his journey to the Eastern Sea, while using the Primordial Origin Essence Fragments to restore his vital essence.

Within the Zichen Cave Abode, Nüwa and Fuxi continued exchanging cultivation insights, and their innate bond deepened with each passing day. Both understood that this meeting was a fate ordained by the Heavenly Dao.
