"We must act immediately." Mordo turned to Wong.

"We need to gather all our strength, including the other sorcerers on Earth."

Wong nodded. He understood the gravity of the situation as well.

He quickly picked up his wand and swung it through the air. A beam of light instantly illuminated the entire library.

"Send out the order. Summon all sorcerers and prepare to meet the enemy."

This would be a grueling battle, but they had to give everything for Earth, for every living creature.

Unfortunately, Lin Du was not here right now.

Meanwhile, Thanos's warship was drawing ever closer above New York.

Its shadow blanketed the entire city, like a mountain of doom about to descend.

Only after all the orders had been issued did Mordo begin to think things through.

A trace of hesitation flashed through Mordo's eyes. "Dormammu has already been dealt with, and Kaecilius has been locked up by us."

"And Lin Du isn't here right now. If it really is Dormammu, what should we do?"

Wong took a deep breath and calmed himself. "Don't jump to conclusions yet."

"No matter what, send word to Lin Du immediately. Hopefully, he can get here in time."

Before he had even finished speaking, Wong abruptly raised his hand and formed a seal. A golden rune flashed in the air before vanishing into the void.

It was a special spell for transmitting messages, capable of notifying Supreme Sorcerer Lin Du in the shortest possible time.

The young sorcerer continued, "The enemy is simply too powerful. Several of our people have already died..."

Mordo clenched his fists, fury and resolve blazing in his eyes. "Whoever it is, they dared invade our territory. They must pay the price!"

Wong nodded. "Come on. We'll organize our people and head to the Sanctum at once!"

Meanwhile, the battle outside the Sanctum had already reached a fever pitch.

Masses of dark creatures surged in from every direction, seemingly endless.

Doctor Strange rushed over. His hands moved swiftly, creating one dazzling magic shield after another, but even so, he struggled to withstand the enemy's ferocious assault.

Under immense pressure, the defensive formation of the New York Sanctum began to show cracks.

"Doctor, we can't hold on much longer!" a sorcerer cried out. At the last moment, he hurled the weapon in his hand at the enemy, yet he was still swallowed by the dark creatures.

"Hold on!" Doctor Strange gritted his teeth, the veins on his forehead bulging.

He rapidly chanted a spell, summoning more magical aid. Yet the enemy always seemed able to find an opening, pressing closer step by step.

Although he and Lin Du had entered Kamar-Taj at the same time.

His strength was far inferior to Lin Du's.

Now, facing Lin Du's opponent, he gradually began to lose ground.

They had fought side by side many times, but this time he felt pressure unlike anything before.

He silently repeated Lin Du's name, hoping he would appear in time and turn the tide.

However, Lin Du was not on Earth at the moment.

He was at the distant S.H.I.E.L.D. facility, helping S.H.I.E.L.D. gain control over the power of the Cosmic Cube.

This power was said to be capable of changing the fate of the entire universe, but Strange was not sure whether Lin Du could fully control it.

He could only wait for Lin Du's arrival while improving his own strength to face the challenges ahead.

Late at night, the streets of New York were brightly lit.

In a hidden basement, Lin Du was intently adjusting a magic array he used to monitor protective systems around the world.

Suddenly, his communicator emitted a shrill alarm.

Lin Du frowned. With a casual wave, he activated the projection screen. A face filled with grave worry appeared—it was Mordo, one of the Sanctum's guardians.

"Lin Du! The Sanctum is under attack! The situation is extremely critical!" Mordo's voice carried urgency and helplessness.

Lin Du understood instantly. This had to be Loki's handiwork.

That scheming god had always been looking for a chance to retaliate, and the Sanctum, as Earth's foremost line of defense, had naturally become his first target.

"Loki... so it was him after all," Lin Du muttered, his gaze sharpening.

Nick Fury and Black Widow happened to walk into the basement and heard Lin Du's words.

The expressions on both their faces instantly turned grim.

"You mean Loki is attacking the Sanctum? The Loki you defeated before?" Nick asked in disbelief.

"That's right." Lin Du nodded.

"Looks like he hasn't learned his lesson. He's only grown more arrogant."

Black Widow looked grave. She knew full well how important the Sanctum was.

"If the Sanctum falls, all of Blue Star is finished. We have to hold it!"

"Lin Du, you need to go support them right away."

Nick spoke anxiously. He knew Lin Du was currently the only one capable of stopping this disaster.

Lin Du did not hesitate. He nodded firmly. "Don't worry. I'll protect the Sanctum."

Before his words had even faded, he began rapidly constructing a portal.

The fluctuations of his power grew stronger and stronger, and the surrounding air became unusually heavy.

Nick and Black Widow could not help but marvel. Even in such desperate circumstances, Lin Du still displayed unparalleled confidence and strength.

Once the portal opened, they could see the scene on the other side: the Sanctum was engulfed in flames and smoke, several sorcerers were desperately resisting, and Loki's sinister face stood out amid the chaos.

"Move!" Lin Du gave the order and stepped through the portal first.

Nick and Black Widow exchanged a glance before following close behind.

Though their hearts were filled with doubt and worry, they knew that only by standing united could they face this catastrophe.

The moment they crossed through the portal, the intense heat and explosions made their ears ring.

The entire Sanctum seemed to be undergoing an apocalyptic baptism. Walls collapsed, and rubble flew everywhere.

The carefully arranged defensive arrays had been almost completely destroyed.

"Lin Du, you're here!" Upon seeing Lin Du, Mordo looked as though he had seen a glimmer of hope.

"Enough talk. We need to deal with Loki first."

Lin Du spoke calmly, his eyes fixed on Loki in the distance.

Loki was fully focused on controlling a powerful spell. Interrupted by Lin Du's arrival, he revealed a cold smile.

"You finally came, Lin Du."

"I thought you'd hide in your cave and never dare show your face."

"Loki, you will never understand that true power comes from protection, not destruction."

Lin Du answered without fear, brilliant streams of energy beginning to gather in his hands.

"Is that so? Then let me see whether your protection can endu

Loki grinned viciously and strode forward, green magical radiance glowing around his hands.

The battle was about to erupt, and the air was thick with tension.

Night had fallen, moonlight spilling like flowing water across the tranquil forest.

Lin Du stood at the center of a clearing, holding the faintly glowing Mind Stone as he stared coldly at Loki before him.
