The technology of Resident Evil, especially the T-virus and biological weapons technology, was dangerous, but the genetic engineering, virology, and artificial intelligence behind it held significant reference value for his understanding of lifeforms, strengthening himself, and even potentially facing certain cosmic-level threats in the future, such as plagues and xenomorphs.

At the same time, he used telekinesis to make extremely subtle adjustments to his face, making it appear more ordinary and less memorable, though the depth and composure in his eyes could not be concealed. The next morning, he arrived near the iconic villa. With senses far beyond those of an ordinary person, he easily evaded the outer surveillance and slipped into the villa like a ghost, lying in wait in a concealed attic overlooking the living room and entrance. Before long, the villa's front door was forcibly breached.

A fully armed Umbrella emergency response unit, U.S.S., rushed in. Close behind them came Alice, wearing a red slip dress, looking bewildered yet moving with agile grace, along with Matt Addison, who was posing as a police officer. The plot unfolded as scheduled. Alice and Matt explored the empty villa and encountered Spence, who was disguised as the policeman left behind—the true virus thief. Just as Spence tried to control Alice with a gun and the situation became tense—Bang! A sharp gunshot shattered the villa's silence. But it was not Alice or Matt who fell. It was the gun in Spence's hand! A warped bullet tore through the weapon, and the tremendous impact sent pain shooting through Spence's wrist, knocking the gun from his grip.

Everyone turned in shock. On the stairs stood an Asian young man in a well-tailored black suit, his expression calm—Li Wei. His right hand wore a strangely designed metal bracer, "Startrail." The shot just now seemed to have come from it, and its trajectory had been unbelievably bizarre. "Who are you?!" U.S.S. captain James Shade immediately raised his gun at Li Wei, while the others went on high alert. "An observer who happened to be passing by and took an interest in certain... noncompliant operations of the Umbrella Corporation." Li Wei spoke calmly as he walked down the stairs step by step, ignoring the guns trained on him.

"Captain Shade, if I were you, I would immediately restrain Mr. 'Spence.' He is the real culprit behind The Hive's lockdown and the T-virus leak. And he should have samples of the virus and the antidote on him."

The moment those words fell, everyone was stunned! "You're talking nonsense!" Spence's face changed drastically as he tried to struggle. Alice and Matt looked uncertainly at Li Wei, then at Spence. Li Wei wasted no words. Startrail moved almost imperceptibly, and an invisible force of telekinesis instantly bound Spence, leaving him unable to move.

At the same time, his gaze swept over Shade. "Captain, there isn't much time. The situation inside The Hive is worsening. Every second of delay increases the risk exponentially. Trust me. Take me with you, and I can help you complete the mission alive—and... uncover the truth." His words carried an unquestionable certainty. Combined with that miraculous shot and his instant restraint of Spence, they led Shade to make a decision in an extremely short time.

Umbrella's upper management had ordered them to investigate and seal the facility. Any unexpected variable had to be handled cautiously, but this mysterious man seemed to know too much. Rather than make an enemy of him, it would be better to temporarily control and use him. "Restrain Spence! Search him!" Shade ordered, then kept his gun trained on Li Wei. "You, come with us. But don't try anything."

Rain Ocampo quickly found the T-virus and antidote on Spence. Alice walked up to Li Wei, her beautiful blue eyes filled with confusion and a trace of barely perceptible dependence. "You... do you know what happened? Do you know who I am?" Li Wei looked at her, his gaze gentle yet certain. "Your name is Alice. You are the 'owner' of this villa, and one of the Umbrella Corporation's highest-ranking security supervisors. You have lost your memories, but your instincts remain. As for what happened..." He glanced at Spence as he was being escorted away. "You'll find out once we go down. Stay close to me. I'll ensure your safety."

Those words were like a calming pill, instantly giving the bewildered and helpless Alice someone to rely on. As she looked at Li Wei's calm, powerful profile, an inexplicable sense of trust rose within her.
