Kaecilius moved into a New York studio apartment to force Zhang Yang and Kamar-Taj to avoid fighting near civilians. As Kaecilius settled in and imagined his advantage, Venom brought Eddie Brock to attack him, and Kaecilius confronted the symbiote.

• Kaecilius realized that fighting in a populated area would constrain Kamar-Taj, while Zhang Yang watched his plan through a water-viewing orb.

• Zhang Yang completed the Dark Crisis quest, received the Sorcerer Skill Tree, and imprinted his spirit on the Dark Fire, gaining 45% authority over Dark Space against Dormammu’s 55%.
• Diana confronted Zhang Yang, and her attack triggered a collision inside his Dimension Heart that created a spacetime wormhole and pulled him away.

Zhang Yang emerged from a spacetime wormhole onto Earth’s battlefield against Darkseid and chose to join the Earth alliance. He overwhelmed the Parademons and damaged Steppenwolf’s axe, leaving Steppenwolf to face his homing magical shell head-on.

• Zhang Yang crashed onto the Doomsday Plains, where Hermes cautiously approached and identified the battlefield as the alliance’s fight against Darkseid.
• Steppenwolf arrived with the Parademons and demanded that Zhang Yang be handed over, while Hermes tried to flee with him.
• Zhang Yang accepted the system’s quest and chose to fight for the Earth alliance because the planet was named Earth.
• Zhang Yang unleashed magic that blasted Hermes and the Parademons away, then fired a magical bazooka shell that nearly melted Steppenwolf’s War Axe.

Zhang Yang overwhelmed Darkseid and tested his Doom Annihilation spell, forming an enormous elemental planet before it vanished. When Darkseid ordered his fleet to retreat, Zhang Yang destroyed the warships fleeing through a Portal and completed the Apokolips Invasion quest perfectly.

• Zhang Yang cast Doom Annihilation and condensed an elemental planet that terrified the Little Broken Planet Alliance leaders and Darkseid.

After defeating Darkseid’s invasion, Zhang Yang received the Dark Eye, a reward that could protect and heal him, then traveled with Hermes to the Little Broken Planet Alliance’s base to rest. There, the leaders’ bizarre attempts to fawn over or claim him left Zhang Yang wondering whether the planet should simply be destroyed.

• Zhang Yang received the Dark Eye after perfectly completing the Apokolips Invasion mission and spared the fleeing Parademons.
• Zhang Yang restored Hermes’s jaw and silenced his nonstop questions before agreeing to go to Mount Olympus to rest.
• Zeus enthusiastically called Zhang Yang his idol, and Odin pulled Zeus aside before trying to greet Zhang Yang himself.
• The Amazons’ queen offered Zhang Yang the Amazon throne and tried to claim him, but Zhang Yang stopped her with his magical power and asked only for a place to rest.
• Zhang Yang judged the Alliance’s leaders to be completely off the rails and wondered whether the Little Broken Planet should exist at all.

Zhang Yang traveled to Asgard to use the Space Stone to restore his Spacetime Force, then discovered that his attempt to imprint the stone linked him to an imprint from his future. He left a second imprint and returned the stone to Odin, still uncertain whether his journey had changed time or fulfilled a predetermined course.
