Background / History

Ye Xingchen begins as a cultivator judged to possess a disastrous spiritual root and no cultivation realm. After being rejected by an elder, he falls from Jueyun Cliff and awakens the One-Click Skip Cultivation System while suspended above the rocks. The system skips decades’ worth of foundational cultivation in moments, restores his spiritual root to mid-grade, and grants him Qi Refining cultivation. He then returns to First Saint Sect rather than fleeing from it. 1

His abrupt rise earns him Outer Sect status under Elder Huang Zhen of North Hall. Huang Zhen’s protection is transactional: Ye Xingchen must place within the top hundred of the inner sect assessment so that Huang Zhen can improve his own position.
