Background / History

Qin Yun is born to Qin Feng and Zhu Zhuyun. Qin Feng names her by combining elements of his own and Zhu Zhuyun's names; Zhu Zhuyun recognizes the meaning immediately. She grows up in an affectionate household alongside her parents and her aunt, Zhu Zhuqing. 34 35

At six years old, Qin Yun spends time sightseeing in Star Luo City with Zhu Zhuqing. While outside the city, she witnesses Lei Erbi and his servants brutally abusing ordinary people. Despite being unawakened and physically vulnerable, she intervenes to protect them. Qin Feng arrives to stop Lei Erbi, heals the injured civilians, and Qin Yun comforts them after they mistake her for an angel. 35 36 37

Learning that the Lei Family's abuse reflects a broader system in which nobles and powerful Soul Masters oppress ordinary people changes Qin Yun's outlook. She resolves to create a continent where common people can live safely, with dignity, clothing, shelter, and happiness. After the Lei Family is arrested, Qin Feng allows Qin Yun to witness Lei Jie's execution and uses the event to teach her never to underestimate enemies or show dangerous leniency.
