Red Maple Valley was a long, open valley running north to south.
Its entrance lay to the north, about twenty zhang wide, connecting to the Spirit Fields and Beast Spirit Valley.
Its southern exit was a little over ten zhang wide, connecting to the grasslands and the Flower Sea.
At its widest point in the central basin, it spanned fifty zhang, with a total length of roughly five li.
On both sides were rolling gentle slopes, densely covered in crimson maple trees, most of them over a hundred years old.
Deep in the southern end stood a Crimson Maple Ancient Tree, its canopy spread like a giant umbrella holding up the sky, covered in tender pink leaves like a baby's palm.
