On the Toril Plane, Yugulos knelt in the Temple, praying before Green's statue.
As one of the first to follow Green, Yugulos knew full well that his own Primary Deity was completely different from the other Deities.
However, after his Primary Deity ascended to Godhood, going ten years without receiving a Divine Oracle from him had still left Yugulos feeling somewhat unaccustomed to it.
The Divine World strictly regulated the lifespans of living beings. Even for those in the Heroic Realm, any extension to their lives was extremely limited.
For many ordinary Believers, ten years was already an incredibly long time.
"Alas, according to Sevyla, after meeting Mystra, our Lord fell into deep thought. He's most likely studying high-circle spells. If that's the case, then there really is no telling when our Lord will wake up!"
Having changed careers from Warlock to Mage, Yugulos knew all too well that Mages could spend decades engrossed in magical research, paying no heed to the changes in the world around them.
And in Yugulos's eyes, his own Primary Deity's research was certain to be extraordinarily profound. Spending decades on it was normal; hundreds of years wouldn't be out of the question either.
At the thought of possibly going hundreds of years without receiving a Divine Oracle, Yugulos felt a splitting headache coming on.
He even began to wonder whether he should join forces with Sevyla and issue a few inconsequential Divine Oracles.
Just as Yugulos's head was throbbing, countless golden auspicious clouds suddenly appeared in the sky. A golden pillar of light descended from them and fell into the Temple.
The golden clouds radiated a warm glow. The countless Believers worshipping in the Temple instantly felt the aura of the Divine Realm within it.
