The Abyssal Sea lay at the very bottom of the Abyss. It was the most chaotic place in the Abyss, where even spacetime was twisted. Even powerful demons dared not venture there lightly.
For beneath the essence of chaos, even powerful demons could lose their way.
Obyrith Demons were born with the Abyss itself. Their forms were strange and malformed, their bodies built in ways that defied all reason. Any ordinary lifeform that saw them would feel dizzy.
After the Obyrith Demons lost their war against the Natali Demons, the Abyssal Will began shifting its power toward the Natali Demons.
Thus, starting in the Ancient Era, the number of Obyrith Demons born in the Abyssal Sea began to dwindle.
But now, those bizarre demons, with bodies no mortal could comprehend, were once again being born in great numbers from the Abyssal Sea.
Having lost once before, the Obyrith Demons now being born in the Abyssal Sea had become even more wildly grotesque, all in their effort to reclaim control of the Abyss.
Beneath the Abyssal Sea,
a demon shaped like an octopus, with countless tentacles and a body covered in small, dark-purple eyes, each seemingly possessing a mind of its own as they swiveled ceaselessly to survey their surroundings, writhed as it fought another demon. The suckers on its tentacles were like lamprey mouths.
The other demon had a humanoid shape and a huge fish tail, but countless rubbery arms extended from its back. Each palm held a wormlike maw.
The two demons coiled around each other, devouring one another.
