In the spiritual world shared by the boy and the beast, they stood on a bridge.
Tai watched his younger self ride off on his bike after receiving a little encouragement from him. A confident light shone in his eyes.
"Agumon, I'd forgotten. I absolutely mustn't lose heart. I was afraid I'd cause harm, so I became a coward!"
"I've figured it out!"
Agumon, standing beside him, answered in turn.

Tai was the first to recover. He edged back slightly, taking a guarded stance, and questioned Green warily!
Agumon ran up onto Tai, ready to unleash a charged Flame attack at any moment.
Seeing their guarded postures, Green waved a hand.
"Relax. I won't attack you. If I wanted to, I could've destroyed your bodies in the outside world long ago!"
"As for who I am, I can't tell you yet."
Only then did Tai catch the troubling implication in Green's words!
"What do you mean? What do you mean, Agumon will die if he evolves?"
At Tai's question, Green's lips curled into a wicked smile.
"Exactly what I said. The more Agumon evolves, the closer he gets to death! Every evolution
