World Stone, Wizard Tower Revised

"World Stone experiments are extremely dangerous. Even leaving aside worlds contaminated by hazardous information, ordinary worlds harbor all kinds of terrifying, high-energy life-forms. The Six-Ring Tower once had an accident. While using a World Stone to contact another world, they connected with a terrifying life-form from another world. It was an embodiment of pure malice, and every Wizard involved in the experiment died instantly. The malice then spread. Three of the Six-Ring Tower's towers were severely contaminated, and more than half the apprentices were killed or injured!"

Randalot spoke with a sigh.

"After that accident, everyone on the East Coast feared World Stone experiments like tigers! The Academy doesn't dare conduct interference research, either. If something went wrong, the Academy couldn't bear the consequences!"

"But I heard other organizations were pushing ahead with interference experiments?" Green asked, his brow furrowing slightly.

"Most of those are Dark Wizard Organizations. They've always embraced danger and don't care about the risks! The Six-Ring Tower is the only exception. It has enough technical groundwork to push ahead with interference experiments. The other powers are no different from us; all they can do is passively study the information carried by World Stone fluctuations!"

Randalot clearly knew more about the matter and explained it to Green.

"If you ask me, the Academy should launch an interference experiment as soon as each model is complete and broadly matches the data!"

A square-faced, middle-aged man in a white robe suddenly came up beside them, his voice a little excited.

"Burns? Have you finished another model?" Green asked curiously as the man approached.

"More or less. The basic model is done, but if past patterns hold, the World Stone's fluctuations will change again any moment! Then I'll have to build a new model!"
