Near the gate, a group of guards broke away and ran toward Green.

Leading them was a blond Wizard Apprentice whose eyes had not yet lost their youthful innocence. Clearly, he had only just crossed the minimum threshold to become a Wizard Apprentice.
At his lead, the other apprentices bowed to show Green their respect.
Green's Mental Power swept over them, and he sensed a familiar aura.
"Are all of you practicing the Extreme Meditation Method?" Green asked calmly.
"Yes, Master Green. Every apprentice who joins the Academy signs a contract and practices the Extreme Meditation Method!" the blond apprentice explained.
Green nodded.
With his Mental Power and the Chip's scan, Green could easily tell that the apprentice had roughly Third-Class Aptitude. In the past, practicing the Extreme Meditation Method would most likely have left him stuck as a First-Class Apprentice. Its cultivation speed was slow, and its higher Mental Power requirements would have made a breakthrough impossible for him in his lifetime.
Things were different now. As the Wizarding World Will awakened, conditions on the East Coast kept improving. Denser Elemental Particles produced a noticeable benefit, while the emergence of abundant resources drove down Potion prices.
Together, these conditions had effectively lowered the Extreme Meditation Method's requirements. With enough resources, even apprentices with Second-Class Aptitude could practice it effectively, and could progress faster than apprentices with First-Class Aptitude had in the past.
If the Wizarding World continued to recover, even apprentices with aptitude another grade lower might be able to practice the Extreme Meditation Method.
