Opening the Passage to Another World

Nine months later.

At the foot of the Sun Mountain Range, deep in the Yaxi Plains, every civilian who had once lived near Green's Wizard Tower had been relocated. In their place, wizards had gathered in great numbers.

After the major factions learned how many places Extreme Academy had reserved, they plunged into a feverish exchange of places and resources.

Most of the East Coast's strongest fighters secured places. After all, every living being's World Mark had the same effect. A Third-Level Wizard was no different from an ordinary person.

At most, a greater contribution would earn a slightly greater reward from the world!

But Extreme Academy controlled the right to transfer mortals. Only by sending great numbers of them into the other world could they create enough World Marks to truly accelerate the consumption of its World Origin.

Most of the Wizarding World's rewards would ultimately fall into the hands of Extreme Academy's people.

Even so, most who joined this invasion cared less about gaining resources than about the Wizarding World's reward that could improve their aptitude.

The Wizarding World's elemental concentration was about to reach a threshold. No Peak Third-Level Wizard could afford to miss this.

That was especially true of Black Wizards. They rarely considered aptitude when recruiting apprentices, so those who grew into Black Wizards often had poor innate talent themselves. They were even less willing to miss a chance to improve it.

As for Low-Rank Wizards, who knew when they would next encounter a World War? They intended to take part even if it cost them.
