Under the night sky above Tuck Grassland, moonlight cast a thin white veil. The whole grassland lay hushed, its dense grass reflecting pinpricks of starlight.

Hills of varying heights blocked the view. A black shadow was weaving between them.

The shadow moved so stealthily that, screened by the hills, the distant camp could not possibly notice it!

Green licked his lips. His breathing had grown ragged, his legs were utterly exhausted, and helplessness showed on his face.

Although the Treant's Life Force had restored this body, bringing it back from the brink of death had consumed too much. Almost none remained to strengthen it.

This body was about as fit as an athlete who exercised regularly.

So after running for a while, Green had to stop and rest to keep himself in fighting shape.

Green knew full well that some kind of Monster still lurked in Mist Forest. Though he could cast Sorcery to muffle sound, there could be other kinds of Monsters there. Perhaps he simply had not encountered them.

To prevent anything from going wrong while his soul transferred to Twin-Moon World, Green had to ensure this body could fight back under any circumstances.

Pressing on as fast as he could, Green finally reached the outskirts of Mist Forest at daybreak.

The White Fog wore a veil of gold in the morning light, beautiful beyond compare. Green narrowed his eyes, a wary glint in them.

Green was not fooled by appearances. There was no telling what dangers lay hidden in Mist Forest.

He regarded the forest and grassland with a grave expression. The boundary between them was so sharp it looked as though a sheet of transparent glass divided them.
