Time passed, second by second. In the forest shrouded in white fog, a massive treant moved silently among the trees.

Even when it snapped dead branches underfoot or brushed against nearby shrubs, it made no sound.

Green guided the treant's body toward the place where the connection he sensed in his soul was strongest.

Inside the treant, Green kept his eyes shut. His ears twitched now and then. He had sharpened his hearing to catch disturbances around him and avoid running into monsters.

After another half hour of silent travel through the woods, the fog around him gradually thickened.

Green felt the connection in his soul and kept adjusting his course. At its root, the link between Mist Forest and Twin-Moon World had been caused by the spacetime distortion of his main body.

That was why the connection between Twin-Moon World and Mist World would be especially pronounced in one particular area.

The Chip's blue-and-white display appeared in Green's mind. Two curves flickered across it like sound waves, showing different frequencies. Their undulations changed so rapidly that they seemed to shift every second.

But as Green moved, the shapes of the two curves gradually aligned, and their degree of overlap kept rising.

[Ding! Current World Overlap has reached 90%! Summoning can begin!]

"Close enough. Time for the summoning ritual!" Green thought as he watched the two curves on the display, now nearly aligned.

At his command, the moving treant stopped and stood as still as a statue.

Inside it, Green went motionless too. His hands hung limp at his sides, his body slack as mud, as though he had sunk into the deepest sleep.

He had shifted most of his attention back to Twin-Moon World.

Under Twin-Moon World's two moons, the Black Unicorns continued their ceaseless migration.
