In the mist-shrouded forest,
Green controlled the massive rock armor, walking slowly and trying to minimize the noise.
Ahead of Green, Krosos was jogging. Green's physique was too large, so even taking a casual step meant Krosos had to trot a few paces to keep up.
Yet Krosos's face held no dissatisfaction whatsoever, brimming instead with excitement.
After all, in his view, following someone as powerful as Green meant the probability of encountering danger was very low.
Just as Krosos thought, along the entire way out of the Mist Forest, they encountered almost no danger; the only peril was when their noise attracted a couple of Thousand-Eared Monsters.
These Thousand-Eared Monsters were directly hammered to death by Green, the spikes on his spiked mace piercing straight through both creatures.
Thus, Green's left hand gained two trophies!
Time slowly passed.
The mist gradually began to thin, proving they had reached the border, and Krosos's movements gradually loosened up as he walked forward more quickly.
On the boundless green grassland, a patch of white area appeared extremely abrupt.
Between the white area and the grassland, it was as if two separate worlds existed. A breeze swept across the entire grassland yet had no impact whatsoever on the white area, seeming to sweep right past that region.
At the junction of the white area and the grassland, along an ash gray gravel-paved road, a large number of carriages came and went. Cart after cart of supplies was transported here, and a city was gradually rising from the ground.
As for this city, numerous roads extended outward like an octopus's tentacles, most of them stretching to the outer periphery of the white area.
On these roads, lone rangers, small squads of twos and threes, and teams of various scales emerged in endless streams.
