Six months later...
In the Soul Hunter World.
Green stood on a platform atop a mountain, dressed in a set of brown hunter's leather armor, looking down at the green sea of trees below.
The green sea of trees stretched as far as the eye could see, all the way to the horizon, with no end in sight.
The sun hung high in the sky, casting bright light. Green raised a hand to feel the breeze blowing against him, then narrowed his eyes slightly as he looked ahead.
A middle-aged man wearing the same kind of leather armor stood beside Green.
"Lord Green, beyond this forest lies the legendary Solasca World, also known as the Storm World to ordinary people. The entire world is inhabited by Storm Elemental Giants, all of them Fifth-Level Lifeforms," the middle-aged man said calmly.
"Who is guarding this area? Storm Elemental Giants aren't creatures that can stay peacefully in one place!" Green asked.
"It's Lord Melrose. The Storm World did invade our world through the Overlapping Region, but the Storm Elemental Giants over there have already developed a civilization. After several probes, they also discovered the problems with our world. Out of wariness, they abandoned the invasion and never opened a World Passage," the middle-aged man explained. "That was how this stalemate came about. Since our strength is evenly matched, neither side dares to strike first!"
"It should be almost over now, right? The overlap has lasted for thousands of years. It must have reached the final stage before separation!" Green suddenly asked.
"Yes. In fact, separation is about to happen. Lord Melrose already left some time ago to guard the Mist World!" the middle-aged man said at once.
The middle-aged man's words made Green's brows rise slightly. The Mist World—what a familiar name.
