In Kapolos City, beside the small pavilion that monitored the border, a wooden counter had appeared between the three rectangular buildings. A Wizard wearing a silver-white fur cloak patterned with icy blue lines and edged with dangling icicle ornaments sat behind it, his expression serious, as if waiting for someone.
The clamor of footsteps gradually grew louder. Led by Green, a crowd of Wizards came along the path between the three buildings. Beneath the golden sunlight, the light reflected by their plain white robes was dazzling.
The Wizard seated behind the counter saw them and immediately stood up. He pulled a large pile of handbooks from beneath the counter and laid them out on the tabletop.
"Hello!" Green greeted the Wizard behind the counter with a smile as he approached.
"I've already looked through the books and handbooks in the castle. I'd like to join a faction in the Central Region. Do you have detailed information about the major factions?" Green stated his purpose directly.
"Welcome to the Central Region, mighty Wizard!" Hearing Green's words, the Wizard before him smiled and pointed to the handbooks on the table. "These handbooks contain information about the medium and large factions in the Central Region. However, mighty Wizard, as the leader of your whole group, I hope you'll make your choice last!"
Green frowned, then followed the Wizard's gaze to the people behind him. He understood the other man's intention.
Green had too much influence over the group. If he chose to join a faction, most of the Wizards from the East Coast would undoubtedly make the same choice.
But if Green waited until last to choose, the other Wizards could select the faction that suited them best without knowing where he would go.
