Following close behind Thorne, Green soon entered one of the buildings with him.

The building resembled a colossal tower. Above the main entrance was a huge circular crest, engraved with seven buildings of different designs. They looked to be the iconic structures of the Seven Academies.

At the entrance, one or two Knights stood guard in silence. They gave off no Wizarding aura, but their bodies exuded a formidable pressure.

Under Thorne's lead, Green entered with him. After walking for more than ten minutes, just before they reached the end of the corridor, Thorne turned slightly and looked at Green beside him. "Green! Since you've decided to join our Truth Seekers Alliance, the rules require you to pass a trial. But as a Wizard I personally recruited, you have more freedom of choice. You can choose the field you're best at!"

At Wizard Thorne's words, Green thought for a moment before answering.

"Then I'll choose potion-making. Alchemy is what I'm best at!"

Alchemy was an ancient discipline in the Wizarding World, and it had always been extremely difficult. It demanded great precision and extensive experience. Without enough practice, there was no way to handle the unexpected changes that arose during potion preparation.

Green could observe a potion's state in real time with pinpoint accuracy thanks to the Chip. When he brewed a potion, this ability let him nip problems in the bud. Ordinary Wizards, however, could only try to minimize the chance of problems, or respond with their Mental Power after one arose, preventing it from getting worse and ruining the potion entirely.

That was why experience was so crucial for alchemists. With enough of it, they could react quickly whenever a problem appeared.
