Wizards explored the unknown, understood it, and ultimately mastered it. Every step had to be taken steadily and surely. If even one step fell short, it would only shake the foundations of their power, ultimately leading to failure during a qualitative transformation. There were very few ways to take shortcuts.

For wizards, the Deity system offered one such rare shortcut.

Deities in the Deity system used Faith Force to twist reality, merging themselves with the Rules born of the world.

It was a typical power system in which its practitioners knew what happened but not why. Few deities delved deeply into their own Rules; most were too busy with the Faith War. And even if a deity wanted to study their Rules in depth, the Faith War left them with little time to do so.

This path allowed deities to wield the power of Rules with ease, even without knowing their true nature, because they had merged with them.

The two paths could not be compared; each had its strengths and weaknesses.

The Wizard Path offered greater freedom and was more difficult, with fewer restrictions. But it demanded exceptional talent. Without sufficient wisdom and aptitude, one would struggle at every turn along the Wizard Path.

The Divine Path required only the ability to gather Faith Force to develop rapidly. But deities were limited by their own Divine Authority, and using powers beyond it was often extremely difficult!

For example, a deity with a Dark Godhead would find it difficult to control the Light Element. If they tried to force it, they would suffer a backlash.

Moreover, once faith withered, a deity's degree of fusion with the Rules would rapidly decline, causing their power level to fall.

If a Sixth-Level Wizard knew of a Seventh-Level deity, they would surely do everything
