Billowing black smoke flew from Diases's hands, mingling with despair, sorrow, death, darkness, and countless other auras. Even the void itself showed signs of corrosion!

Diases raised his staff high and shouted.
The black smoke swelled like a rising tide, then surged straight toward the Death God before him and all the players nearby!
Seeing this, the Death God player raised his scythe and slashed at the smoke!
A streak of black light cut through it, carving a wound that swiftly healed. The smoke then quickly wrapped around the Death God player.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Shrill howls rang out from inside the smoke, punctuated by flashes of black light. The repeated clashes forced all the low-level beings to retreat!
Eighth-Level Wizards appeared across the battle lines, only to be stopped by the guild leaders of the opposing civilizations!
The tide of battle gradually shifted back in favor of the Player Civilization.
As the front lines faltered, the Wizards began an orderly retreat, abandoning some small and medium worlds.
Naturally, the Wizards were retreating toward the Hunter World!
The Hunter World was the only Second Layer defense line. All the Wizarding World's other defenses were First Layer lines, so if they wanted to consolidate their forces, they would naturally move closer to the Hunter World.
The Hunter World was the enemy's primary target and was under immense pressure. If it fell, the Wizards would have only the Third Layer defense line left to rely on. Naturally, they had to first relieve the pressure on the Hunter World's defenses.
