Returning to the Academy

Flesh and blood scattered through the air, stunning everyone. The scene fell deathly silent. Green had struck too suddenly, without the slightest warning.

Even after seeing Aichi's head pierced through, Green could not be sure he would not spring back to life. To avoid putting himself in danger, Green had chosen the safer approach.

A dead Aichi would be less valuable for research, but Green chose not to take the risk.

Hearing the Chip's report, a flicker of delight crossed Green's eyes. He ignored the bloody scene and pulled a pair of rubber gloves from his backpack.

After casting a spell on the gloves to ward off curses, Green began gathering the Flesh scattered across the scene. These were precious research samples, and he needed to preserve them quickly.

The members of Bru Squad finally came to their senses as they watched Green, his face alight with excitement, smiling while he collected Flesh from all around.

"What do we do now?" Sain asked Bru, looking lost. Everything had changed so quickly that he still had no idea what had happened.

After Bru and the others tended to Newt's wounds, they watched Green continue his work.

"What's Green trying to do?" Sain asked curiously.

"He's collecting Aichi's corpse for experiments!" Newt had spent longer at the Academy and had been an apprentice longer, so he easily guessed Green's intentions.
