The blood mist drifting silently through the Endless Void went unnoticed by every Wizard and player. Only Green received the information.
The Player Civilization's suicide ships could indeed inflict devastating damage on the Abyssal Zerg Nest. Before the Symbiote Avatar had merged with Green, the Abyssal Zerg Nest would indeed have been unable to withstand such an attack.
But ever since the Symbiote Avatar had finished merging with the Abyssal Moss, the Abyssal Zerg had effectively gained a cloud-based brain. When faced with an overloaded or devastating attack, they could transmit the data they had gathered to the Symbiote Avatar in the cloud at the very last moment.
After the Player Civilization's suicidal attack, the Symbiote Avatar had immediately and rapidly adjusted the Zerg Hive's internal structure, shifting to all-out defense. In the end, only a nearly imperceptible amount of gaseous Abyssal Moss remained.
Inside the Bloodline Royal Court, Green watched the projection. Dark red blood mist drifted through the Void like goose feathers, and a satisfied expression appeared on his face.
"The Abyssal Zerg are exceptionally well suited to surviving in the Void. Now they just need to approach a world and slowly seep inside. That'll let us plant a deep-set spike in the Player Civilization's World Cluster!"
Green spoke in a low voice, his deep gaze revealing a sharp glint.
Several years passed...
The Wizard Civilization and the Player Civilization entered a prolonged standoff. Every so often, both sides opened Spatial Passages and ventured into the other's World Cluster to test their strength.
However, as the Wizarding World frantically expanded through its own World Cluster, the World Cluster Consciousness originating from the Wizarding World also rapidly grew stronger. With the World Cluster Consciousness's help, both the Wizard Civilization and the Player Civilization could easily suppress the other's
