In the chaotic Time Space, after confirming that the Spatial Passage he had discovered had been destroyed, Green checked the Space Lock once more. Only after making sure there were no gaps did he withdraw his Mental Power.
Standing in the dark cave, Green began to think things over.
"Is the great battle over? The Player Civilization opened a passage on its own, so it looks like they won the war. I wonder how the native lifeforms in the Core Space are faring now."
Only the higher-ups of the Player Civilization knew about this space. Since they had opened a passage to connect to it, they must have been the ones to lead the effort.
By all reason, the Player Civilization should only have been able to spare the time to handle this after winning its battle against the Core Space's inhabitants.
As for why Green didn't simply use the Monitoring Eye to check, it was because, in the war between Top-Tier Lifeforms, Sea Sand Space, a space in the Mystic Realm's Eighth Layer, had collapsed completely from the aftershocks. The Monitoring Eye had also been destroyed in the Spatial Storm.
Sea Sand Space had already become extremely unstable because of the Core Space's power corroding its structure. Add in the battle between all those Top-Tier Lifeforms, and its total collapse was only to be expected.
Though his reasoning made perfect sense, Green could feel his soul sending out repeated warnings.
Feeling the strange sensation coming from his soul, Green furrowed his brow.
At his level of life, his soul wouldn't send out warnings for no reason. Something must have happened.
To confirm the situation and prevent any unforeseen changes, Green slowly raised his hand.
