Although his survivability and strength had improved tremendously, Green quickly steadied his mindset. He didn't let his newfound power go to his head.
"Still, what exactly am I now? An Eighth Level, or a Half-Ninth-Level Half-Transcendent?" Green wondered as he stood in the dark cave.
By using the Spacetime Rule, he had unified his past and future into his present. There was no doubt that he had advanced to the Eighth Level.
But whether he counted as a Half-Ninth Level was something Green himself was still unsure about.
That was because a Half-Transcendent wasn't a conventional level, but a special one that didn't belong to the usual hierarchy.
According to the information he had somehow gleaned from spacetime, even a First-Level Lifeform could count as a Half-Transcendent, as long as it could unify its past and future, possess immortal Life Force, and travel freely through the spacetime of the Endless Void.
However, such an extreme case was almost impossible. Immortality and the ability to travel through spacetime could be acquired through fortuitous encounters. But of all the hurdles, the hardest was unifying one's past and future—a threshold that seemed like a standard Eighth-Level ability.
Without a sufficiently high level of Life Essence, one couldn't bring their past and future into their present. Trying to force them together would only cause their Timeline to collapse, erasing them completely from the records of spacetime, never to be heard from again.
But nothing was absolutely impossible in the Endless Void. Anything could happen, however unlikely. If some low-level lifeform happened to succeed in unifying its Timeline with the help of a fortuitous encounter, it wasn't impossible for it to become a Half-Transcendent.
Simply put, lifeforms of any level could become Half-Transcendents. There was no necessary connection between being a Half-Transcendent and one's level
