A world born from a Nightmare like this should have been crawling with Monsters appearing without end. The situation beyond the city walls was a good example: zombies, skeletons, and Monsters appeared from time to time. That was fairly normal.
According to the way Nightmares worked, once everything became eerily silent, an extremely powerful Monster was likely to appear next.
