In the vast dimensional space, only a single island floated, less than a dozen kilometers in diameter, making the place seem exceptionally empty and desolate.
On the island stood a huge, crude stone table at its center.
The stone table was an enormous rectangle, with stone chairs lining both sides, while only three chairs occupied the head of the table.
The three chairs at the head of the table each had their own distinct features.
One seemed to have a giant purple centipede coiled around it. Hundreds of pairs of legs appeared embedded in the chair, their edges incredibly sharp. Its huge mandibles looked savage and fierce, their tips so dark a purple they were almost black—a clear sign of its deadly poison.
Of the other two chairs, one had a longsword carved into its back, with countless other broken longswords carved beneath it.
The last had four elemental symbols carved into its back, arranged in a diamond pattern: Earth, Water, Fire, and Wind.
The stone table was packed on both sides with one Eighth-Level Peak powerhouse after another, some even surpassing the Eighth Level limit.
Some of these top-tier powerhouses wore worried expressions, looking deeply troubled. Others were curious, glancing around as if they had no idea what was happening.
Every so often, a Spatial Passage would appear outside Guardian Island, and a Top-Tier Creature would emerge from it, make its way to the stone table at the island's center, and take a seat.
But these newly arrived powerhouses looked just as worried.
