A day later, in the dark Hyperspace, Baro looked at Green and the Law Crystal in Green's hand with a complicated expression. In the end, he could only shake his head helplessly.
"Mr. Green, I've provided you with all the knowledge I possess. I have nothing more to trade!"
Looking at Baro's helpless expression and the faint longing in his eyes, Green knew that this Ninth-Level Life had indeed been completely drained of his knowledge reserves.
Putting away the Law Crystal, Green said to Baro, "In that case, this trade ends here. If you acquire any new knowledge, you're welcome to trade with me again!"
As he spoke, a rune appeared at Green's fingertip and flew toward Baro.
"Activate this rune and channel power into it to send me a message directly," Green explained.
Baro looked at the rune, held out his right hand, and absorbed it into his body.
"If I get the chance, I'll definitely come find you and trade again!" Baro spoke from the heart, his voice filled with emotion.
Green's large-scale offer of Law Crystals had made a powerful impression on Baro.
Baro had traded a great deal of Law Crystals from Green and urgently needed to digest them. The best place to do that was naturally the Eternity Gathering Place.
After giving Green a slight bow, Baro transformed into a black streak of light and vanished into Hyperspace.
The trade between Green and Baro was over, but its impact went far beyond that.
A great many Ninth-Level Lives had witnessed Green and Baro's trade. The vast quantity of Law Crystals Green had offered had shaken the worldview of countless Ninth-Level Lives.
Some Ninth-Level Lives had even taken out notebooks to record the quantity and attributes of the Law Crystals Green had provided.
