The ever-splitting parallel worlds kept devouring one another, forming a unique balance. This not only preserved the worlds' potential but also allowed more High-Grade Lifeforms to grow stronger through war.

The drawback to this arrangement was obvious. Frequent wars left the Void in chaos and disorder, and its growth accelerated rapidly.

"Every time Spacetime splits, it's because Spacetime has collided ever so slightly with other Laws. The resulting worlds undergo small changes, some good and some bad, entirely unpredictable.
