Two million years later!
In the enormous laboratory, runes hummed as they continuously purified the air, making the surroundings feel fresher.
Light shone on metal and crystal, reflecting bright gleams. Some crystals even caught the light at just the right angle to reflect rainbows, lending a touch of warmth to the otherwise cold-lit laboratory.
And there, in the laboratory, Green sat motionless before an instrument, like a sculpture.
Only the blue streams of light and the frequent fluctuations of his Mental Power proved that he was thinking.
After a long while, the extremely frequent fluctuations of Mental Power gradually subsided.
A trace of fatigue first appeared on Green's face, followed by unbridled joy.
After sifting through and comparing vast quantities of data, he had finally achieved some results.
He rested a hand against his forehead, pressing his fingertips to his temples to ease the fatigue brought on by twenty million years of high-intensity thought.
"Chip, open the model of Ninth-Level Life!" Green said quietly, having soothed his mind a little.
The Chip's blue interface popped up rapidly. A model of Ninth-Level Life appeared on the screen.
A vertical white line divided the interface in two.
At the top of the two sections, the labels Subjective World and Objective World appeared.
Beneath the two headings were countless points of light.
But beneath Subjective World on the left, there were only a few dozen points; beneath Objective World on the right, they were packed tightly together.
However, the points beneath Subjective World on the left often had a tiny extension.
These tiny extensions broke through the dividing white line and entered the domain of the Objective World.
Looking at the model on the Chip's interface, Green had nearly grasped the essence of Ninth-Level Life and the fundamental relationship between Ninth-Level Life, Hyperspace,
