Dago counted the people listed on the name display. There were 1,533 names in total. Of them, 127 were wizards rated Second-Knot Rank or higher, while only thirty-one were Third-Knot Rank or higher. As for Four-Knot and Five-Knot Ranks, they could be counted on one hand.
Standing among the crowd, Dago felt himself wrapped in a vast, mixed intangible energy field. It was the combined product of the Mental Force Fields and emotional fluctuations naturally radiated by all the Ring of Law wizards present.
The field was filled with countless tense, expectant, excited, and agitated emotions. Within such an energy field, even Dago felt the blood in his body gradually beginning to heat.
Bernal had been right. This was a massive stage, and every Ring of Law wizard had a chance to step onto it and display their abilities. The spotlight could fall on any wizard.
Dago watched everything in silence, as though he were merely an observer. His heartbeat and blood flow were gradually speeding up, but his mind remained absolutely calm.
He was in a subtle state that was difficult to describe, but that state was soon shattered by a tremendous Mental Force he had never felt before.
Dago narrowed his eyes. He thought he was seeing a small sun suddenly falling to the earth. Once his vision adjusted, he realized that the so-called "sun" was a gaunt old man with snow-white whiskers, a Thorn Ring on his head, and an exquisite emerald-green robe.

The gaunt old wizard's appearance quickly quieted the restless crowd. His Mental Force swept across the entire field, after which he gently waved the
