Taking Another Mission

Although Dago was not afraid, he still had to leave himself a way out.

If he truly encountered an opponent he could not handle, he could at least use the terrain to escape. Beneath the Earth-Rending Rock-Drilling Dragon's habitat, there would surely be a maze of intricate underground tunnels.

If all else failed, he could drill underground and wage tunnel warfare. His chances of survival would shoot straight to the maximum.

"Oh, okay."

Seeing that Dago had chosen his mission, the short-haired girl quickly registered it for him. Then she chattered on about all sorts of key details regarding the mission, including the Earth-Rending Rock-Drilling Dragon's habits, weaknesses, and so on.

It immediately made Dago think more favorably of her. Responsible people were welcome wherever they went.

"With your strength, as long as you're careful, this mission won't be a problem at all. You can do it!"

Before he left, the short-haired girl offered Dago words of encouragement. Her adorable manner as she cheered him on even made him smile.

"Thank you."

Dago bid the girl farewell, turned around, and came face-to-face with the bald wizard's cold, gloomy expression.

The smile at the corner of his lips slowly faded. Calm-faced, he strode out of the tower's mission hall.

He left the Silver Tower's territory, then Kletam City.

Dago flew above the forest, wind whistling past both sides of his mage robe.

After leaving Kletam City, the bald wizard following him vanished without a trace. Yet that feeling of being watched and stalked remained, faintly present.

There was no emotional fluctuation on Dago's face, but inwardly, he had raised his guard to the utmost, ready to deal with any attack at any moment.

He didn't make a move on the road. Is he waiting until I encounter the Earth-Rending Rock-Drilling Dragon?
