Tang Xuanyu was born after Gu Yue’s ten-month pregnancy and was named by Tang Wulin and Gu Yue. His arrival was celebrated throughout Shrek’s Inner Academy and by the Tang family 58.

As an infant, his Golden Dragon King and Silver Dragon King inheritances fused without conflict. When Na’er touched him, he resonated with Tang Wulin, Gu Yue, and Na’er, producing a Dragon God Phantom and identifying him as a Dragon God embryo 62. His divine aura later nourished and steadied Shrek’s defenders during the Spirit Pagoda siege, healing wounds, calming souls, and strengthening their resolve despite his infancy 65 67.

He grew up during periods of peace and war under the care of his parents, grandparents, Na’er, and Shrek.
