Tianyi helped Konoha foil the attack on Kushina, then oversaw the birth of Naruto and brought Kurama to Blue Star. After addressing students at Rabbit Nation’s new energy school, he began a secret mission to rescue Professor Gao in Bald Eagle, but discovered that the old man he extracted was a decoy.

• Tianyi helped Konoha prepare for Uchiha Madara’s planned attack on Kushina, while Obito and Pain coordinated their assault and Danzo escaped from prison.
• During the attack, Tianyi and Konoha’s forces fought Pain’s Six Paths and Obito, drove the attackers off, and protected the village without civilian or ninja casualties.
• Tsunade delivered Kushina’s son, and Minato sealed part of the Nine-Tails into Naruto, returned part to Kushina, and left another portion for Tianyi to contain.
• Rabbit Nation staff released Kurama at their base, where Shukaku picked a fight with him before Gyūki explained that they were on Blue Star.
• Tianyi gave a speech as honorary principal, demonstrating his powers and urging students to carry on their predecessors’ work.
• Commander Tian assigned Tianyi to bring Professor Gao home from Bald Eagle, and Tianyi entered the capital under the identity Li Wei to begin the mission.
• Tianyi infiltrated a guarded villa and teleported away with an elderly man, but realized the man was a shackled substitute rather than Professor Gao.
• Tianyi learned through genjutsu that the substitute was FBA agent Martin, killed him, and left his body behind as Bald Eagle officials received footage of the operation.

Fang Tianyi rescued Professor Gao from Deep Well Base after the Bald Eagle government launched a nuclear strike, then refused to return to Rabbit Nation and prepared to strike back. As Rabbit Nation coordinated with him and arranged a live broadcast, Tianyi appeared before the USS Gerald R. Ford strike group at sea.

• The Bald Eagle president accused Rabbit Nation of backing a superpowered attacker, while Mr. Guo denied knowledge of the operation and called for restraint.
• Tianyi broke into FBA headquarters, captured Director Robert Murray, and learned that Professor Gao was held at Deep Well Base with an XT-7 bomb implanted in his neck.
• Tianyi fought through Deep Well Base, found Professor Gao, and began operating to remove the bomb as the Bald Eagle launched missiles and a nuclear warhead at the facility.
• Tianyi shielded Professor Gao from the nuclear blast, removed the XT-7 bomb, and escaped with him, while Bald Eagle officials realized they had survived.
• Professor Gao returned safely to Rabbit Nation, but Tianyi flew away to heal and told Commander Tian he wanted the locations of Bald Eagle’s nuclear-powered aircraft carriers.
• Rabbit Nation’s leaders ordered full cooperation with Tianyi, and Commander Tian arranged satellite tracking while Central Television prepared a military live broadcast.
• The USS Gerald R. Ford and its escorts departed Norfolk, and Karim and fellow soldiers discussed setting a fire aboard the ship rather than dying in the desert.
• The USS Gerald R. Ford’s crew spotted Tianyi standing motionless on the sea, and its captain ordered the Pentagon contacted.

Tianyi returned to Rabbit Nation after rescuing Professor Gao, then captured the Seven-Tails and brought its chakra to a hidden base. As the Five Villages prepared for the Chunin Exams, Obito attacked the base, forcing Tianyi to evacuate after losing Li Rongbing.

• Tianyi destroyed Bald Eagle’s carrier fleet and White House, then returned to Rabbit Nation with Professor Gao to a public welcome and a military medal.
• Rabbit Nation leaders revealed that Tianyi had acted personally, while foreign leaders debated how to respond and the Bear Nation secured places in supernatural training.
• Tianyi pursued the Seven-Tails to Takigakure, defeated its guards and Takikage, took the Hero Tree fragment, and brought the complete Seven-Tails to his base in the Land of Whirlpools.
• The tailed beasts fed chakra into the Hero Tree fragment as Akatsuki investigated its disappearance, while Tianyi confirmed that White Zetsu had staged attacks along the borders.
• Tianyi proposed a battle-royale Chunin Exam to bring the Five Kage to the Leaf Village, and all four other villages agreed to attend.
• Obito probed Tianyi’s outpost, but a security device prevented him from extracting information from Wang Qiang before Tianyi forced him to withdraw.
• More than ten thousand White Zetsu attacked the base, and Tianyi wounded Obito while Li Rongbing died resisting Kamui.
• Tianyi ordered the base evacuated and its supplies burned, then resolved to confront Obito in front of Rin.

Tianyi prepared Konoha’s Chunin Ninja Exams while exposing Obito’s control of the Mizukage and facing the other Kage’s accusations over the Tailed Beasts. As the battle royale unfolded, Itachi’s team encountered Hua Li, and Kakashi rescued her from Kusagakure’s abuse, setting Kushina on a mission to save her and find Karin.

• Tianyi traded genetic programming materials to Orochimaru for Impure World Reincarnation, then told Fugaku that Obito was the masked man claiming to be Uchiha Madara and asked him for help.
• Tianyi replaced Kakashi’s Mangekyō Sharingan with a Three-Tomoe Sharingan and treated him with White Zetsu cell culture fluid, while secretly marking the removed eye with Flying Thunder God.
• The Kage plotted to use the Chunin Ninja Exams to expose Konoha’s strength and kill Tianyi, but Tianyi and Tsunade prepared the exams with a Forest of Death battle royale and extensive broadcasts.
• Tianyi, Minato, and Tsunade confronted the other Kage, freed Karatachi Yagura from Madara’s genjutsu, and exposed how Madara had manipulated the Hidden Mist Village.
• The Kage agreed that the Chunin Ninja Exams would determine the fate of the Tailed Beasts, and the exam began with teams entering the Forest of Death and competing for points.
• Itachi, Kabuto, and Hana ambushed rival teams around an airdrop, took their point scrolls, and earned a high ranking as the forest teams reconsidered their strategies.
• Tianyi recognized Hua Li as Karin Uzumaki’s mother and ordered Sakumo to bring Karin back alive, while the injured Kusagakure captain and a teammate drained Hua Li’s vitality.
• Kakashi killed a Kusagakure ninja, incapacitated the captain, and rescued Hua Li, who was taken to Konoha Hospital, and Kushina promised to find Karin within three days and vowed to heal Hua Li.
